My good friend Walter at at St Lucie Customs in Stuart Fl. will be replacing mine in 2 days. Great video, thanks, my 05 Avalon needs front bearings, the factory ones made it to 213k miles. Between 35 and 40mph it sounds real bad. Wish I was young and strong enough to still do everything myself like the old days. You Tube is a wealth of information for those with a can do attitude. Great lesson video , good job brother. And if your looking for a good honest shop, call Walter at St Lucie Customs, you'll be glad you found him.

A trick I learned wad to put my hand on the coil spring and use my other hand to turn the wheel and if I felt the spring vibrate then that was the bearing needing replaced

Since you have a press you should have used it to push the hub out instead of using the hammer lol

$30 dollar bearing. Yes bought press years ago for $149. (20 ton) and had a couple friends buy other tools for me for changing theirs for the tools as my payment. I have done about 30 press in wheel bearings. There is an important process as to not ruin the new bearing and some bearings have a certain side that faces out due to ABS tone ring. First one can be challenging but once you do a couple it is like manually changing a tire. There is a process that has to be followed. And having the right tools is essential. I enjoy putting new bearings on cars.

$200 is low. Just a bare knuckle can be $300+. Buy the tool once and save 10K over a lifetime. And help friends and family.

The bearing is 94 dollars. The hub is 65. I didnt see how much that whole knuckle is. Even if you buy all 3 parts new you still have to press it in. Go to oreillys website and price the knuckle part.

Simple, easy lol for who? You mean those people that can't change their spare tire. Lol. I'm Glad I'm not one of them. (3 clutch job, multiple oil change and service, countless brake job and 350z engine complete rebuild and etc.) Thanks for sharing.
