Texas had something of a disappointing 2006 season after the previous season's national title. But they got to go a bowl that was 90 minutes away from their campus. It was expected to be such a huge home field advantage for the Longhorns that Iowa did not stand a chance. But Iowa jumped to a 14-0 lead. That would prove that they were not pushovers. Texas had to claw their way back, and did, barely winning 26-24. It wouldn't be for another 13 years that Texas finally got a blowout win at the Alamo Bowl. They beat Utah 38-10. The following year at the same bowl, Texas walloped former Big 12 school Colorado 55-23, in a game where attendance was limited due to COVID-19.

If Colt hadn’t gotten injured they’d have done better

Some really weird choices on the time skips by LHN - the big Iowa drive that started on their own 2 and ended with Aaron Ross picking off a pass in the endzone, they didn't show the interception but they showed like 5 plays leading up to it.
