I owned a 2007 A4 Quattro 6MT for years. APR2+ tune. It was a dream and I miss it everyday 😞

I had a 2005 A4 turbo awd with heated seats, upgraded stereo, 6-speed stick. The car was phenomenal. I kept it for 13 years. Plenty fast, handled impeccably and looked smart. The in-dash 6 cd changer was icing on the cake. I’m not gonna say the car didn’t cost me money cause it did, but I didn’t care because I enjoyed driving it that much. I finally swapped it out for the ‘18 stick version.

Great car and easy to work on yourself! I bought my b7 a few months ago, 6mt awd turbocharged- super fun to drive and you can really step on it on the low end if you know how to use the clutch correctly. Great review

After growing tired of taking constant abuse by driving a very "stiff" Fiesta ST, my aging bones needed a "softer daily". Something with AWD, something with a bit of Euro-ness (I am married to a German after all) and something that I would enjoy as a made my client visits all week. I ended up finding an ultra clean (like weekly detailed clean) 06 B7 Quattro that was maintained by an Audi Master tech and that only had 145K (kms) on it. With all the required and preventative maintenance done (all of it), and with fresh snow tires just installed, I think I have found something that should fill my daily needs. So far, its awesome. Classy and understated and just the right size (not big)

Very tempting to buy one of these. My sister had a B5 that I used to drive and fix. I enjoyed that car.

Just bought a 2004 Audi A4 B6 1.8t Quattro in Imola Yellow for 4200! It has 116667 miles. Bought it from an older gentleman that no longer wanted it. It has over 40 service records. 6 k miles ago the belt was replaced, @ around 112k miles the clutch plate was replaced. Man what a steal! The guy wanted 5100 and I brought it down to that price. The interior is immaculate, only two flaws the driver seat on the right (my left) there’s a tear about half and Inch wide and second the 6 radio preset buttons have wear. Other than than that’s all! And your right the clutch is not to easy nor hard. And I bought a cassette tape adapter to connect my iPhone for music! On the highway it saved sooo much fuel. Not bad for my 1st car.

B6 and B7 A4 were made at the same time🤔. Going to check if the MK4 and MK5 golf were produced at the same time as well. Edit: it's very complicated. Some markets got a facelifted MK4 in 2007 and was in production until 2013, which is around the time the MK6 was in production in most other markets. At the same time, the US didn't get the MK5 until 2006.

@@ty1on106 the Golf City was a pretty ugly car, IMO. Why did VW make that car worse looking than the pre face-lift MK4 Golf instead of just giving those markets the MK5?

@@damilolaakanni Here in canada we got both the mk4 city and the mk5, idk the reasoning behind it bc the city models were built in a different factory. I dont see them often either

Why do German manufacturers go through the process of switching taillights to all red for NA? Amber tailights seem safer honestly. But I am just really surprised how many European cars will have all red taillights. It seems like a pointless waste of money. Does anyone have any ideas? I see so many German cars with a all red setup and just find it strange they would waste the resources for NA.

I have this car right now and I’ll say it’s fun, heated seats are an option that you could get for this car (and thank god my interior isn’t that gross colour) but do not recommend. The maintenance is terrible.

For a first car within the Volkswagen group, you're better off with a MK5 Golf or Jetta with the 2.5. You'll have some issues with either of those, but many of them won't be engine related.

Better still, just get an Acura TSX, it's going to be just as fun to drive while being much more reliable.

There is no way to say this without sounding offensive. But that is the most boring looking interior I have ever seen. I can't think of a single car with so little effort placed in design. I thought Tesla interiors were boring but this takes the cake. I might change my mind as I think a out it. But these were my immediate thoughts.
