This was the only video I was able to shoot on our new truck before the piston rings gave out and that's why it went to be rebuilt. Thanks for watching.

The valve lash isn’t a hard job and had nothing to do with the nearly 300k mile piston rings finally giving in and breaking.

Good video- you may want to try using a inch lbs torque wrench when setting the valves. Doing that will ensure that all the valves have the same gap.

About an hour. Just take your time and follow the instructions.
