Do you know if this applies to a 2008 AWD Escalade?

Bro I did both mounts on my 3/4 ton Silverado and that’s exactly how I took them out and it was 4wheel drive but I had more room had an 8” lift with 37” wheels 😂

@@Livingandcooking I was able to sit on my ass and change the mounts out then my oldest boy fell asleep at the wheel going to college and destroyed the truck and I’m glad he was driving it instead of 2 other vehicles we have because it saved his life

How did you know your driver side mount was bad? I get the clunk sound when I accelerate which i believe is the issue, also would it have anything to do with the vehicle stumbling/Stalling in reverse only?
@Livingandcooking
6 ай бұрын
Probably nothing to do with it stalling. I determined it was the drivers side by having my son put the truck in gear, HOLDING THE BRAKE TIGHTLY, and pressing the accelerator just a little. When the truck is in gear and you mash the accelerator, the motor, because of the pressure being put on it, will lift up on the side where the mount is broken. As a precaution, I suggest you always stand to the side of the engine and not directly in front of the truck. It’ll be clear which side is broken, if you have a broken Mount

It’s ok. It’s one of the things that holds your motor secure in your car
