They jump them..they use new reproduction body parts so they dont ruin original cars... They still jump these in dukes of hazzard shows and car events for decade or so now they use these Crown Victorias with Charger panels on them,it saves original cars and parts... Plus you can tell as the cars do not look 100% accurate,a little off but doing 50 at 50 feet in the air it looks like the original. Keep adding new reproduction panels to these Fords and jump them..I mean original Chargers are 40k for a rusted, dented non runner,so cheaper to do the crown Victoria route $1500 gets a perfect solid running car then time/money in parts but you finish it below 40k.

Not wasted resources AT ALL. Plenty of guys build chargers out of these. Often times to use as stunt cars or in movies so no real chargers get destroyed. Any original parts i guarantee were parts that werent good enough to be used on a charger resto and would have been thrown away and the rest is all reproduction. The prices of chargers are through the roof and are unattainable for most people who want them at this point. This is a GREAT use of resources, not a waste in any way shape or form. At the end of the day, he’s gonna have a kick ass charger, one of the best looking cars ever made and he’ll be able to have tonnes of fun with it since its not a real charger.
