Finally, a gentleman's exhaust. I, too, wanted a freer flowing exhaust but didn't want one of those pricey exhaust systems. Plus, only one or two of those kits had a sound that I could tolerate. I had settled on purchasing my own resonators and mufflers that I know I like the sound of. I have used this style muffler on other vehicles of mine with great success. Yes, after a break in period with good heat cycles and some hard pulls to really pack everything in, they settle in nicely like yours has. Good work and thanks for the tips. I'll probably be using the same X-pipe you did and may end up with a different muffler on the back, but the concept will be identical: 2.5" with no restrictions.

Hello Eric and man, thank you for the good words and stopping bye!! You know why I went with the Flowmaster Flow FX in the back particularly??!! Because they were the lightest and disappeared under the car. It really slims the back out without having exposed cans. Last reason is the weight factor. Barely way more than the steel piping itself. Takes away mass otherwise right at the rear axle. Good to hear from you man!! Come back any time 🙏🏼👍🏼

Direct message me on IG @mrindestructible99 and I will help you out bro. This isn’t a sponsored vid by any means lol. If I get enough people wanting to know then I hope to be able to make some partners…..till then, just hit me up ;) Congrats on your build. Check out the first two parts of the build. I number them by the order you should do your upgrades! Intake and exhaust work with AND off each other after all. They give a lower power by themselves then when they are combined but intake is the most inexpensive and most powerful bang for your buck start! Check out vid 2 in the series 🙏🏼

Hello Dave!! Yessir. Everyone pays different for their labor depending on where you are. In LA where I am labor is ridiculous $$$. My total cost was 771.00$ because of 400$ in labor. These welds are the best I have seen though. Flowmonster product is the 2 1/2 dual in and dual out muffler. Flowmaster Flow FX are the muffler replacements and the 18’ of pre mandrel bent piping. All 2 1/2”. All products cost 371$ in total.

California in general, and Los Angeles are no joke when it comes to stopping in ticketing people for modified cars. That’s why I have to be very careful with what I do! Hi Jeff. Thanks for commenting!! This application is for POWER, not for sound. Problem with the Belugas system is your piping from the Cats back to the axle is still less than 2 inches wide. This means you haven’t allowed your system to breath well enough to gain the power of the full system. Your Cats are large enough and 2 1/2 inch piping is the optimal amount for this engine BUT you need to have that flow all the way back. ALSO, your system Is the same weight as stock were J have ripped 42 lbs from the dry weight!! I also didn’t want big mufflers hanging out the back…..those Flowmaster flow fx are so small you can’t even see them. Remember Jack, this system is for power and the sound is just what comes from it. It is beautiful and deep, no rasp and no drone. Your system is mass produced and this one is bespoke to my car….I need to be different lol 😆

I don’t want it any louder. Sounding better doesn’t have anything to do with how loud it is. Loud is annoying and useless. This system is for those that want POWER. This system is beautiful and the most powerful you can make. That’s all that matters. Sound is a byproduct of the power. I can’t stand all those raspy loud cheap sounding exhausts, which is why I made this one.

You get different results with a dual exhaust and a single exit 3 inch. Depending on what you’re going to do with your engine. Are you going to turbo charge it? If so, yes, it is recommended to do a 3 inch single exhaust as you need different Flow out of the engine. A naturally aspirated engine needs to pull the gases, whereas a turbo charger is going to be pushing the gases. So they work differently, however, long story short, duel, exhaust, if you’re not turbocharging single if you were going to turbo charge. If you’re going to supercharge, then definitely do double! It’s my pleasure to help with anything you got bud!

Thanks for the good words Kash!! It’s even more deep now, like a V8. I would say the tone changes over a couple of months even. On the gas question, YES!! Explain to me how it’s called a true dual exhaust when u have a collector?
@mrindestructiblemedia
Жыл бұрын
A true dual exhaust consists of 2 pipes in and 2 pipes out of a convergence point. Some manufacturers use a straight through design in the can but is crap mesh and simply cut holes through it for flow. If you have 2 separate pipes going all the way down the chassis it’s called H piping. Nobody does that. The internals of my collector are a 5’ hourglass design which super accelerates the exhaust through the convergence pipe. If my pipe had a 3’ or larger Y pipe single connection (stock and most aftermarket systems) that is NOT true dual. The only way to have a true dual exhaust system is to have two throttle bodies coming off the engine. I have two throttle bodies coming off my engine. This allows you to have a true dual exhaust. Get it? Thanks for checking out the channel!!

Hey AJ!! Actually man, I did my coilovers next as my suspension was 14 years old and for some reason had risers on it from the previous owner lol. Suspension was absolute shit!! However, next video will be the “sound clip” video where I give you full sound compilation from inside, outside, normal drive and sport modes, all different rpm ranges and full comprehensive diagnostics of the gains in power, since the intakes have already been done. I tell you about the gas difference, throttle response etc. THEN, we have my coilover install video. I think I will be doing more suspension upgrades before I go to HFCats as the power and speed are absolutely there already. This thing handles like an M3 with the coilovers so I want to explore my speed around corners and stopping ability before I go for more power. I will do big brakes after more suspension upgrades. Stay tuned (get it lol??!!) for more homie!! Thanks for the support!!
