Great video Robert. I was surprise d that was a CCOT system. May I recommend you place a small piece of plywood underneath the refrigerant scales to help you obtain a more accurate reading. Keep the videos coming

I can see that you are not a long time AC Man, its ok, we all need time to learn the system well. I can understand why you weighed the gas the first time and found it down a lot but the system should not shut off at 50PSI like it was based on a low charge, it should have gone down to 30PSI before shutting off due to a low charge. Not sure if you went to pick up the pressure switch or if you had it delivered but if I was in the store I would have asked for the accumulator to see if it had a Schrader valve so I would not have emptied the system again. Its typically ok to overcharge by that small amount as it has a known leak anyways. I did not notice you touching the AC lines around the system to check for how hot or warm or cold they were, this is an old school technique to check mainly for large temperature drops, as in a restriction before your hand, or temp increase for a restriction after your hand. I wont say anything about your recovery system as you did not show the full process non stop so I dont know all your processes for AC Servicing. I would imagine that this setup is much cheaper than one of the big AC machines? Thanks for all your videos, big fan. THUMBS UP
