You don’t have to remove the abs sensor but it’s better to remove it so it doesn’t get damaged if you have trouble getting off the hub assembly. The driver side is the speed sensor and the passenger side controls the speedometer.

Usually I've not had to use those to wo bolts to get the rotors off, if the rear doesn't want to come off first double-check that the parking brake isn't engaged and holding the drum in place from the inside. Also to avoid damage to the drive shaft pop it free with a mallet first and use a slide hammer instead to remove the hub (you can rent them from auto supply stores).

@Saxettnuh what happened was the wheel bearing push the ring around the cv axle back. That's where the speed sensor go through so it push the sensor back some. So I made a cut so the it doesn't push the sensor back on both sides. I'm guessing the after market parts doesn't fit inside the ring. It work and no more lights on. Everything is working now.

What are the 4 bolts holding the assembly in? Some kind of hex right?

The speed sensor is behind the wheel hub. Theres no way to damage it during removal or installation. Your more likely to damage the sensor by removing it. Mine was so seized that it was impossible to remove. There is a metal shroud that surround the speed sensor. While pulling the axle back in to the hub that shroud can bend the sensor if it is not aligned. Do this slowly while checking to make sure it is align. I was so scared I would damage the sensor after watching this video. That I tried to remove it first. It broke in half as i pulled it out. Just take your time and check to make sure you're not forcing anything in to place.

I hope you didn’t torque the hub Allen bolts to 217 ft/lbs. that is 214 ft/lbs for the axle not the Allen’s are only 48ft/lbs

I was not able to torque them at that spec but I did use lock tight and tightened them as much as possible.

you don’t torque those to 217 that’s just for the axle nut. the 4 alan bolts you can just tighten down

The rear bearing dust cover Lexus part number 4245130020 has to be installed a certain way. There is a hole that the speed sensor goes through in it also. That is why your sensor is not going all the way in. It took me longer to get that lined up correctly than it did to replace the hub bearing assembly.

Some KZitemr said it was really hard to put the rear bearing dust cover back in place and he had to take the whole thing off the axle and brought it to a dealer to press the dust cover in, is it true?
