I bought the same Majesty in 2009 and have been riding it for 10 years! Great bike. When I bought it they were making them bigger every year, but the bigger ones became cumbersome and lost the best part of riding a scooter, it’s agility. The 400cc is the best balance of power to weight. It s quick from a stop and also has plenty of top end power for passing even at high speeds, and carrying two riders. Treat it well you won’t regret it.

Looks pretty solid and maybe it could do fine on the freeway? I test rode the highly respected Piaggio BV350 a few weeks ago, took it on a freeway in Los Angeles and I'll tell ya it DID NOT feel safe at all. Like the whole thing was going to self-destruct or split in half LOL. I currently have an 06 Kymco People 250cc that is just lovely for surface streets; no problem leaving traffic behind. The only time I take it on the freeway is when it's bumper-to-bumper, then I weave and pass cars with a grin on my face from ear to ear. But back to that BV350. It really wasn't much more powerful than my Kymco with its 250cc. So maybe this Yamah is the ticket. Piaggio also makes a BV500. But I hear that maintenance is kind of weird with Italian bikes. Special tools needed, etc?

I had an 06 majesty. Rode it all over the Midwest. One day i rode 600 miles from Eureka springs ark to Chicago. I thought it was a great highway bike. Solid and stable up to 80-85 mph at least..

My Majesty holds around 3.5 u.s gallons, and I'm getting just over 50 miles per gallon. It's only at around 1100 miles and I believe the original owner didn't really break it in so I'm hoping to better mileage eventually. It's 3.7 U.S gallons.
