Just something to add, if you replace brake booster some aftermarket parts doesn’t allow the switch to be pushed all the way in, that will cause speed issues depending how big the gap, ABS will try to slow the car and cause brake pads woren faster caliber , hub and wheel heat. tip: use furniture pad to fill the gap by sticking it to the plastic pad at the brake pedal.

Thanks. My 3rd brake light wasn't working (actually it was just really really dim). Dealer said I needed a new brake light. I bought one and replaced. Didn't fix it. Someone on Mazda forum mentioned brake switch. Was going to test with multimeter, but it was a cheap part. Replaced and now everything is great.

Thanks. My 2009 doesn't always want to start...I think it's that switch. Great to see how to take it out to replace.
