Great work! I really appreciate watching a Renault. Sometimes you take out this kind of boxes without taking the battery out. Sometimes you prefill the CSC but not this time. Just in newer CSCs? In any case, thanks for the video!

Did this have a loud rattle at idle? From the faulty clutch plate cover? Ive got same kangoo.. been having early signs of gear slippage in 3rd. At idle the rattle noise is so loud. I can drive and change gears like normal with the exception of the loud noise at idle. Pressing and depressing the clutch pedal noise still remains the same.. i duno if i shud get clutch cover & disc only or a full set with flywheel.

I admire Kevin's work and skill but I can understand him. No shop near working area, vehicle is on stands and you can't leave the working place and tools to buy few$ crank seal.

@@mr.t2585 sure. but for next mot it will not pass. Job twice. So? Order always in advance kit. If not needed just return. Simple. Few £ to fit new seal? I dont think castomer ll be upset to pay extra for good job done.
@WMCS

Replacing a crank seal will only mask the problem temporarily. Rubber seal doesn’t leak as rubber doesn’t disintegrate in oil. If ever there is leak coming through the crank end that means there’s movement in the crankshaft. To resolve it you need to 1 take the sump off. 2.remove and replace both big end and main crank bearings. 3. Then proceed to replacing the crank seal. How do I know. That a new M18 high torque? If so, have you see the issues with the new ones, as highlighted by the Torque Test Channel? kzitem.info/news/bejne/yqupvKOXa2OVlIY
@WMCS
Жыл бұрын
This new one is the more expensive range very high torque The one you’re referring to I have in my toolbox I bought it earlier this year and it’s a complete failure of the range. First day I got it nearly broke my wrist as it locked and kicked back. Does it every single time so it just sits in my tool box.
@sc5015

@@WMCS Contact Milwaukee. This fiasco with the high torques breaking and/or seizing up has been a huge embarrassment for them, as they are supposed to be a "premium" tool maker at a premium price, but even DeWalts or Ryobi's haven't had had failures like that. If that tool has the 2767-20 model number and H96B in the serial number, Milwaukee will replace it with a H96A which is the original design, and time and work proven to be reliable. That said, I love your videos. People like to think they are hard workers, but you define hard work by being out there in the elements, slinging heavy parts by yourself. You are tactile with your movements, not wasting time or effort.
