The hard top is very quiet compared to the older Wranglers. Yes most people upgrade the speakers to Kickers by Mopar. That makes a huge difference. And when everything is off the sound system you can still hear just fine.

You can have the dealer add the leather Interior after the purchase, But all the dealer does is subcontract the work out to a local audio or upholstery installer or repair shop. And the dealer put a premium on it for them. So I called Katzkins and they found my local installer. I contacted them direct and it cost me $1100.00 OTD for my installation and heated seats. I think this would have normally cost in the $1400 + - range but they had a JKU Kit sitting in the back unused. Check eBay also

All of those SUV's are all high end luxury vehicles. The wrangler was really just a utility vehicle with the luxury of going top less and door less and yet still be fun to drive. I looked at everyone of those vehicles you mentioned. Sadly to say the Pilot in my opinion was the best overall built. But now they have engine issues popping up. But the Wrangler is so fun to drive. Taking the top off and doors is priceless. The comfort of the seats Is so so much better than the older jeeps

Nice review, thanks for covering the removal of the Freedom Tops. I'm looking to trade in my 2006 Hummer H3, and the Wrangler Unlimited looks like just the thing I need to pull my jetski's in the summer and handle the rough winters we get in the Midwest.

Ur video was great, u made my mind. I've been going back and fort on to buy a used 2007-2011 (less than 20k) or a newer model 2012-14 (over 30k). I agree that the extra 85hp, enhanced gear box plus better interior make the over 10k diference. I'm going forward with the brand new Sahara fully loaded, hopefully in your blue or the copper one. Thanks a lot, this is the only video review so far that its really helpfull

The shocks you can do in 10 minutes with a few wrenches very simple and a very nice difference in ride. The speakers are easy but google how to replace the dash. If you follow the simple steps its very easy.

Just remember you can always buy Rubicon Suspension parts like the shocks and springs for $100.00 and sometimes find someone giving them away. The locking sway bar is something you can't upgrade. The sound system and navigation is also something easily upgradable. Plus if you ever got to lift the Jeep and deck it all out how much of the stock suspension will you be removing. Shop around!!! TrueCar.com gives you actual dealer cost and is very helpful.

The JK has come such a long way. They are night and day difference from the older TJ's and now the 2013 has a quieter soft top with the new premium soft top. Towing a boat with the Pentastar engine is a breeze. Yes it's still a Chrysler product but now these days Honda isn't making the best automobiles either. I would never turn back and have no regrets. Watch my video of us going off road in my stock JK. You can't do that in any other vehicle. And I'm not a advit off roader either

Great review! Watching this on my phone so I'm not sure if you listed it in the comments or not but I'd like more info on the hated larger seats you added after purchase. Was it still thru the dealer? The driver side seat of my 2012 is cracking and I'm sure it's not covered under the warranty/extended warranty. I'd like to keep my factory look inside with out changing both front and rear seats. Thx

Very good question. The main difference on the Sahara is the 115 plug outlet in the center console. After installing the fender flares, bumper center pieces, leather interior, heated seats, and nav my "sport" is fully loaded. To replace what I have right now, a new Sahara of the same would cost like 42 43K MSRP. Unless you can find a dealer willing to discount a Sahara down, then yes its worth the effort to customize to what "you" want.

What was the issue that Chrysler denied that cost $1200.00 ?? I love my Jeep. I hate Chrysler products. What do you do ? If you look around at other brands it seems that more and more problems are coming about. For example, I am a Honda fan. We use to own a Honda Pilot. Luckily we sold ours but now they are having serious engine and oil issues along with the same ole V-6 transmission issue.

People say these are uncomfortable and noisy on the highway, confirm? I want to get one of these for towing our boat b/c everything else is either massive or a shitty 4cyl, my parents drive bmws so they are used to luxury and think it will be a bad ride quality(bases on reviews we both read) on highway driving, I honestly dont give a shit because imo its miles ahead of everything else we're looking at, then again its a crysler product so i dno, thoughts and opinions?
