Great video Sam, I’ve never done a Volkswagen or Audi programming using Otis yet so I would love a video of how to set it up. Keep up the good work

The Audi I had to adapt with ODIS required more key cycles in the test plan....Additionally, I found that the only key that will "work" or start the vehicle afterwards was the key or keys that were present during the process....any keys that are not there are worthless later and the vehicle will act as if you never programmed or adapted....my Audi was a 2013 A3....hope this helps 👍...so for future reference, have all keys present to avoid "potential" call backs later

Hi, and thank you for the information. As I understood you started with immo. but what about the next step concerning the transmission?

Sam you mentioned that there are other tools that this can be done with, could you share a link to the forum that you mentioned where they are discussing this sort of thing, I changed my transmission on an 09 A4 and would hate to take it to the stealer to get this done.

That's a very good video. Do you know if a USED BCM2 module (main ecu of the immobilizer) can be adapted to the car with ODIS? Thanks a lot

@@toolhutusaakathecarflasher3019 okay. I did online programming but it says the vehicle key is not OE it’s a Aftermarket key so the programming cannot be performed. Whether it’s ture? But vehicle was running with the same key for a long time. The massage popped up while programming ( Key not assigned to any VIN ). Can you able to help me out on this issue?

@@sainath8710 you should not have had to touch the keys. Just do transmission initialization

Hi, I am trying to get more information on how to perform a TCU update, calling around the service shops in the area and they never can answer or call back. Looking at AliExpress ODIS interfaces... but how will I log in to retrieve the TCU update firmware/reflash? I have several questions as to how you obtained your setup and etc, thanks in advance if you can shed any light or help guide me in the right direction. I am not now to ECU reflashing, just VW ECU's haha.

THis job cannot be done with a stand alone ODIS. You need a subscription

So, does this pretty much mean that the reprograming of the transmission is simply just a security protocol, adapting the new part to the ECU? Don't suppose you know if a different code trans can be programmed, my current is MKE 2011 and I would like to fit 2014 PWW?

It is 100% about security. Not sure you can swap part numbers

Does the valve body have to be replace ?
@toolhutusaakathecarflasher3019

This was a used transmission from the salvage yard. The Valve body is the one that came in the transmission
@living9377

The valve body is coded to the transmission. He bought it as a complete set so what he did is sufficient. If the valve body goes bad and you replace it then you will need to code the valve body to the transmission probably using the same software.

Wasn't the whole point to show programming a used transmission? You don't show literally any of it... You do a walk through on keys, and end the video...
