Nice drive Joe. I’m not a big fan of the touring chassis and even less the Diesel engine, but this facelifted one looks really nice, especially the lovely interior color combo.

In 2012 you could easy buy BMW with diesel and manual transmission. Nowadays there aren't so much BMW with manual and less BMW with diesel. Few years later BMW may refuse from diesel engines and manual transmission.

I have got the 320d 163 cv touring from 2006, and I can say that on motorway it is really economical, tough it’s not the efficient dynamic she still does 5,6-5,8 L per 100 km, one question the 320d from 2012 is not supposed to have 184 cv???

The 163hp variant is the pre lci versions and 184HP variant is the 2.0l turbo diesel which is the updated n47d20c/a engine rather than the m47. Lci come with 184HP if they are not 1.6d, 1.8d car variant

@@andersnielsen6044 silent? Diesel is much louder than petrol, and the particulate filters get clogged if they are driven in town too much but not the highway
@andersnielsen6044
2 жыл бұрын
@@youraveragejoe1 Yes it is by nature more noisy, but it is also working with much lower rpm's than a petrol engine, no reason to rew it like a Civic VTEC. And yeah they need to be "stretched" out, but that is easily done on the "drive on" to the highway. Or once in a while by driving 80 km/h in 2nd or 3d gear for like 5 or 10 minutes. You come with the smallest exceptions to justify noise. Even modern petrol engines need to be stretched out as well. :)
