What a great presentation by Christine Park of a great car! With designers like her and her thoughtfull insite, in my opinion, has put this car ahead of the competition. I just picked mine up at the dealership a few days ago and just cant say enough about this car and the thought that went into it. Cadillac.. Keep On Rockin!

Yes, she did the interior design on the XTS and she's one of GMs most talented designers. This is easily the best lux interior GM has ever done, imo. Auto journalists have commented on the beauty of the interior as well. Very nice job Christine!

I love Cadillac's especially the CTS-V. This XTS looks beautiful inside and out and the interior stands out from the rest. Christine did a marvelous job and she's also Incredibly beautiful as well. If I was to chose between the XTS or Christine....sorry Caddy!

I disagree. I am on my 9th. Cadillac and will probably buy an XTS for its looks alone. I LOVE the retro-updated look of the tail fins which have always been a Cadillac staple. The interior is equally to die for. Given a choice between Mercedes and the XTS, I would take the XTS in a heartbeat! The XTS is the most technologically advanced car being produced now at ANY price. Cadillacs are holding their resale value BETTER now than the Japanese and German competition.

The ATS is a high performance car whose emphasis is on road manners while the emphasis with the equally high performing XTS is on luxury. The XTS has an ALL leather interior whereas the German and Japanese cars use plastic on most of their surfaces. Cadillac uses leather on BOTH sides of the seats, the dashboard and the door panels. The interior ceiling in the XTS is covered with premium Italian suede. Cadillac is world class now....and then some!

I prefer the DTS over this replacement. It doesn't look like a Cadillac that will last and become a classic in 20 years cause of all of the computer technology. The DTS was more basic, like the impala.

Finally, with the XTS, Cadillac can sit at the same table as Mercedes, BMW and Audi large sedans, The fit and finish quality feeling, qualilty of materials are up there with its German rivals. Ride, handling brakes and steering matches the performance, this car has the well rounded feeling of a true luxury segment car. I would like only two things different:- the rear spoiler is out of place on a large 4 door luxury sedan like the XTS, and I would like the gearshifter on the steering column like on Mercedes S and E class and BMW 7 series, like it should be on luxury sedans, otherwise I would not change a thing. Cheers.

the xts is for people that want a smooth ride with a premium interior that dont really care about performance. the ats v and cts v are for eating imports alive, there on there way. Not to mention the full size flagship sedan based on the Ciel and Elmiraj concepts thats also on its way. Good time to be a Cadillac fan!

The one I drove may have had the DI badge stuck on the back but I didn't actually check the sticker under the hood to see if it was a DI or SFI motor so maybe I drove an SFI. Honestly the engine sounded grainy at high RPMs, the M272 in a C350 was silky smooth and of course a BMW I6 motor is probably the best of all time. No doubt the Caddy will be one of the most reliable of the bunch though but it just didn't do it for me.

Compared with BMW which offers vinyl as standard, Cadillac offers premium Italian leather on both sides of the seats, the dashboard, and door panels. Unlike BMW, the Cadillac CTS-V will generally set you back $1.200.00/year for insurance compared to almost $2,900.00/year for the BMW which is up to 4 TIMES more expensive to repair. Ferrari didn't choose BMW's suspension but, they did choose Cadillac's magnetic suspension for their future high performance cars.

The quality of the new Cadillacs is on par with ANYTHING coming out of Deutchland. The BMW, that this Cadillac was designed to compete against, has fewer horses under the hood while the interior of this Cadillac is light years ahead of the German and Japanese competition when it comes to quality and refinement.

How can she not know what she is talking about she is the lead interior designer she had a big part in the development in this car and i think she did an excellent job on it. I've seen the interior of Bmw and Mercedes and they are not as good as this one people just go by by the brands Rep there interiors suck plain and simple. If you have seen her previous vids you would know she isn't camera shy play close attention she was just trying to point out every detail look at her eyes...

I don't think Cadillac built the XTS to directly compete with the 7-seris and S-class. XTS was built to replace DTS/STS and give that customer base a car to transition into the new Cadillac style/line. There's rumor that Cadillac is working on the ULS which would be their flagship RWD that would compete directly with the 7-series and S-class.

I was expecting a car to be the Top of The Line. This replaces the STS/Seville. Whe are the designers at Cadillac gonna figure out that ALL of their cars DO NOT have to look like a CTS. HEY CADILLAC, try different styles for EACH line. Mercedes, BMW and Jaguar do it well.

I test drove an 09 CTS with the 3.6 DI motor and the car in general wasn't much to gawk at in any aspect other than value for your money. The engine was harsh and unrefined and the FE3 suspension though tight and great handling was too harsh on most roads. The seats are hard and the interior is quite tight even for a smaller car.

FWD and 300HP when the competitors made that sort of power in the mid 90s doesn't cut it for world class. German cars still outdo this car. Interior materials are fantastic but the design is too bulky and the most important thing performance and refinement is lacking in this Caddy as it has been for the past 2 decades.

why do i have the impression that she has no idea what she is talking about? maybe its just her being camera shy; but honestly, this is not evoking any positive reaction to a brand new product. all of Cadillac's hard work is being disregarded due to the lackluster presentation of their lead designer presenting it.
