Michael Jenkins, the grease came with the pads. I think the name was Wear Ever.

Did yours have shim kit? Mine are new and they squeak. Dealer said I need a new shim kit. Thank you. I don't have no shim kit on mine but Dealer said I need it

Mine did not have shims. The difference could be the way they were manufactured. If you did not purchase the pads from a dealership, you may want to consider doing so. Parts are generally reasonably priced at dealerships.

You can use pliers or a C clamp to recess the calipers.

There are basically two ways to tell when it is time for a change; brakes are squeaking or physical inspection of the pads. The groves at the center of the pad at the 1:27 mark should be used to assess pad wear. Once the wear reaches the bottom of the groove, it's time for replacement. Squeaking brakes most likely indicates time for replacement.
