I used to take the tram at night from Sheung Wan to East HK island when I have nothing to do. Appreciating the beautiful night view of Hong Kong has always been one of my favorite pastimes. Thanks to Hong Kong!

Who da thunk it....."double-decker trams"!!. Looks like something out of a model railroad set. Interesting to watch as they amble along on well-lit streets brimming with activity augmented by neon-lit businesses complimenting such. Thanks much for the video.

I wish I could jump through my screen, exit right there at 50:17, walk over to the right, where the bus is parking , walk through that small shady alley behind and visit Times Square. Nah, right now it is just behind midnight over there

This pastor summer was my very first in Hong Kong and it's very beautiful, especially at night (I won't divulge the adventures I've encountered because they're crazy and a mess lol). I've had a I rode this tram, but sat on the bottom deck than the top one.

well, tram is an old transportation, over 100-year-old, and maintained a lower and affordable fare for everyone however, other option, e.g. by bus ~ hk$ 9.00, by taxi ~ hk$100

What a shitty, soul-less place to live!............. (just like MY home town, Liverpool, UK) You must constantly be yearning for the mountains and streams.... And such a BIG Carbon footprint with all them lights on buildings and car fumes! City's like this are killing the Planet off for our children! However, things are set to change.... City's where designed to bring shoppers/workers to shops and home again, but now thanks to e/bay and the like, big costly shops are no longer needed...... Result: People stop going into the city, less pollution! p.s. Brilliant Vid man! look forward to seeing the rest.

Like the mountain less than 500 meters from this tram line? Or the harbour the same distance the other way? Hong Kong is a tiny place, hence everything being crammed in close. If you have never been there, I can garauntee you it is not soulless. And it is definitely a billion times better than Liverpool or London.
@mmmhmm6102

Derry Cummins Large dense urban cities heavily reliant on public transportation with short distances between work, homes, delivery centres and small space efficient housing (like Hong Kong or NYC) contribute a smaller carbon footprint than living in the countryside or classic American suburbs. Ironically because of this density there's a quite a lot of pollution concentrated so cities are doing the most but also suffering the brunt of related health effects.Living in the countryside requires longer traveling distances (for those delivery trucks you believe are the future), more investment in infrastructure to support this, induces construction of larger houses with more energy use, and expanding into land that should be preserved.

It's because of the city's geography mate I live in Hong Kong, and with mountains surrounding the city, we are all crammed into a place, yes I may not like living there as much, the old buildings the hot and rainy weather, and yes, the haze and fumes during the winter, but I don't find it a bad place, and the government is already trying to combat climate change. The problem isn't as easily solved , Hong Kong has a population of 7 million, all crammed into buildings, it is a concrete jungle, for no fault of our own, and we won't demolish the mountains surrounding us to make more space either, and yes there are mountains and streams, they are just high up in the mountains and far in the countryside.
