I always though after London that it would be Kyla, Aly and Jordyn that would be back. I though Mckayla and Gaby would have gotten so many opportunities due to Gaby's win and Mckayla's personality. I hope if Aly, Gaby and Jordyn decide to come back that they do it this year because after that i have a feeling another Nastia performance could happen. I give so much respect to skinner for coming back and trying to go to Tokyo but watching her here, she has such bad technique that she still has now. Her technique has gotten better. Look at her cheng for example at podium training 2019 worlds and then compare to this. It’s similar but no where as bad as before. I hope she can sort it out. Although, it’s not exactly her fault, it’s her coaches for not having her fix it.

So confused with what Tim is saying at 59:24 about Jordyn being the only senior of the fierce 5 in 2009… Aly is older than Jordyn, didn’t Jordyn become a senior the same time as Mckayla and Gabby?

Her floor seemed really downgraded from what she did at the world championships later that year. 2013 Simone was before she got super unbeatable and every stuck landing Simone. I see why she changed her opening pass because in 2013 and 2014 she just had way to much power to do the double double as her opening pass.

Hi Hello I don't think she changed it because she had too much power. In fact, in 2014, she did the double double pretty well as her opening pass.

Illise Angel Actually, I still wonder why she hadn't upgrade her opening pass already in 2014. She could have done the Biles as her first pass, or begun competing her double layout full earlier -- she was definitely capable of it at the time, if she wasn't already in 2013 -- and saved a whole lot of landing deductions. I suppose it didn't really matter though, as she still won nationals and worlds in both 2013 and 2014!

There’s actually a video about her!! You should check it out. I think it’s titled, “I was unbeatable, until I was” something along those lines.
