Its funny how you jerking the throttle and ride it like a 2 stroker and the crossfire gets ridden like a 4 stroker by the noob :) the 1100's are still beautiful sleds to these day, love the dark sound of it.

Not much of an arctic cat fan myself but those 4 strokes are beautiful machines I don't care what anyone says. I feel bad for you guys though I got to say. To much flat land. And open country. But all the same keep the track in the snow and the skies in the air. Have fun

Okay just to ket everyone know, 2012 and 2013 can fix the belt blowing with an updated secondary(150$),a new clutch guard(40$) and maybe a clutch alignemney(50$). I would rather spend 250$ on updated for a 2012 or 2013 thank spend an extra 5k for what is really the same sled just with the updates done from the factory, just my 2 cents.

There are service bulletins from Cat that the dealer will replace the clutch on those sleds for free. I just had it done.

How are you on belts, looking to buy a limited turbo tomorrow. Just worried about belts.
@Derwood2118
10 жыл бұрын
DONT BUY IT..... unless its a 2014 then id MAYBE consider because of the updates done. my 2013 turbo blew a belt about every 100 miles, I went through 7 belts in 900 miles. my buddys 2013 turbo had 3 belts in 1000 miles and my other buddys 2013 turbo 1 belt 900 miles.... the belt issue never got solved at the dealer so I traded the turbo for a 2013 1/2 arctic cat wildcat and ive never looked back.... hands down though best sled ive ever rode in my life was the 1100 turbo... hope that helps ya in a decision

Derwood2118 That really sucks I think you just made me change my mind. It was the F 1100 turbo, or the F 800 2 stroke. These two sleds were the only two in my budget. Anything about the 2 stroke (F8)? I don't ride my machines as near as tough as what you guys do in the vids, id be lucky if it hit the bar once.

Derwood2118 And you think Arctic cat would of came out with a Recall for the belt issue? That's crazy.

Yamaha Raptor I heard the 800's were having piston issues... due to people just pullin the cord and rippin down the trail and not letting them worm up before riding, don't buy a 2012 tubo or a 2013 turbo, only buy a 2013 turbo if it has the updates for 2014. 2014 are good as far as I know... haven't heard much on them

Thanks for the input, seeing that they are "hold overs" I will talk to them about current upgrades, man I would love to have the turbo, but I have problems with it. I WILL regret it. As for letting sleds properly warm up I am not worried about that. I always let them run about 20mins lolol I'm a little OCD. Thanks man!

I can see standing up to go over a bump, you had to be exhausted from standing up all that time for nothing. I'm exhausted from trying to watch the whole uneventful video. Didn't make it to the end.
