The Hinchinbrook region offers a wealth of natural experiences to enjoy. With Hinchinbrook Island being the largest island on the Great Barrier Reef there is no shortage of waterways to explore and fishing grounds to throw a line in.
We were spending a few days at the Hinchinbrook Marine Cove Resort so we could have the chance to really check out this area.
The resort had accommodation that would suit all styles and budgets. We stayed in a 2 bedroom townhouse. This was spacious and comfortable and was self contained which was great for us to have a kitchen and is perfect if you are there for an extended stay.
They also have motel style units that overlook the water and studio style bungalows that sleep up to 5. And the most luxurious are their river front houses. These sleep up to 8 and are really large, so if you have the whole family traveling or a group of mates, then these are the choice for you.
