I have a 2012 Touring version of this bike and I totally love it! I ride it in Nicaragua (Central America) and have had no issues at all. I came from a 2007 Honda Shadow Spirit 1100 and was really skeptical at first about going to an air cooled bike but I have sat in stop and go traffic in Managua (capital city of Nicaragua) for over two hours straight in extreme heat without any problem. Could I feel the heat on my legs? You bet! But did the bike overheat? Nope! Now I'm glad that I don't have to worry about coolant levels, water pump, fans, etc.

Love that color scheme, stainless lowers and flat black. They painted and sealed the tank graphics on the tank, due to fuel spillage, and people clean the tank more often than the rear fender.

Great vid. I just upgraded from the virago 250, shake rattle and roll at 55mph. I got the 950 touring model. Won't do the hwy without windscreen. I got Cobra pipes. Had Vance. And Hines on my harley sportster, the Cobras seem just as good. I ride AT LEAST 5000 miles every summer I'm in Chicago . I'm loving the 950 v twin. Keep on truckin

I have the same model, I have added a Windshield and Sissy bar. I don't ride every day but I do like the bike. I haven't had any issues yet, I am coming up on 2 years with it. My previous bike was a Harley Dyna super glide. I also had to bore out the baffles because it was too quiet and I couldn't get the pipes yet. Thanks for the review. Hampton, Ga

I ride a 2014 650 V star classic, my first bike as well, and I'm 5'11. It was uncomfortable after getting used to the bike. So I needed a change desperately. There are a few places in the USA where you can order extension brackets online. I ordered 4" extensions and what a great change it was. It came with everything I needed except tools and lock tight. Plus, I'm able to adjust the tilt of my floorboards as well. I'm getting something bigger in a few years but until then my bike is comfortable enough to ride.

@Group_Anonymous
4 жыл бұрын
Uriel1816 The meaning of motorcycle bells is often associated with little gremlins and/or demons that hide along the highways and sabotage motorcycles, causing bikes to crash. But their history goes back, way back. ... American pilots adopted the gremlin folklore and even claimed to have seen them just before a crash or malfunction.
