Wow! This is the only time I have ever sen Scott play! I remember back when he broke the record with 211(?) metres, and this was just as the Internet was starting out. The tiny GIF of Stokely throwing his record breaking throw was the very first animation I ever saw on the web. I remember the way his throwing hand would hit his own back, really hard! Great to see he is still playing!

Played some golf with Scott waaay back in the day and he's one of the nicest guys I've ever met. Great to see him back. Thanks for the coverage!

I know these guys are a tier, but it makes me feel better to see them smacking trees left and right. As a new player, I hate hitting trees but this puts a smile on my face know tier a guys aren't above a good buzz saw from time to time.

Wow! Great to see a big shot from when I started, still out there competing! I remember attending a Stokely clinic at Buffumville Dam in Mass right about 2000

I've only ever seen Stokely play in the '99 world championship video here on KZitem. In that event, he mostly threw BH so this was a real pleasure to see him crush those FHs. It's incredible he's getting the distance he is when he's primarily throwing a Karma and an Illusion.

Stokely's quintessential hyzyer flp will have me at the field tomorrow just to see if I can reproduce it.

Is Stokely is using his new line of plastic? Or are those not legal yet?

Is Stokely rocking out a Tony the Tiger hat? If so, nice!

Yep. It's his lucky "36" hat, he told me. Earlier in the year in CO he twoed every hole on a course for the first time, and he's worn it every round since.

I can't stand the sound of anyone hitting trees.. It's such a painful and unbearable sound

Do you ever play in a tree full environment? I regularly play at two courses.. On is a small course the other is pretty big. The small one is like two tress every hole to make it challenging.. The other course looks like a forest. I hit trees at least twice on the small course. And I have yet to hit a tree on the big course haha

Nothing against Stokley but if he thinks he can even get close to competing with the best he is Totally wrong. If he even wants to compete for first he needs to play advanced or masters.

Scott Stokely is currently a 986 rated player and has cashed at every event he's attended this year, all open division. He should absolutely be playing open at events like this.
