Well I can't believe it's been 1 year since I picked up this beauty but here we are. Here's a 1 year update and review on my 2014 Ford SVT Raptor. I bought it with 57,000 miles and put on an additional 18k since. These comprise of some daily driving as well as off roading of course. Looking forward to putting on the next 75,000 miles myself and keep you guys posted on how she runs! Thanks for watching! Feel free to follow on Insta: @exoticars19

You need a tuner, it wakes up the low end laziness of the 6.2, I went with a SCT blank tuner then had 5-Star tuning to give me 5 different tunes from 91 octane race all the way to 89 octane city programming. Works very will, I have the same truck, same mods except I went with a AFE stage 2 intake and stock exhaust.

I have an idea for a worthwhile mod. Gen 2 shocks and struts. Just swap your gen 1 coils on the struts, get a slight leveling up front and you'll be amazed at the improvement off road. Of course I'm talking about the blue non livewire version from the first couple of years as there's no way to take advantage of the electronics of the livewire. Only drawback can be the UCA Angle some say leveling raptors isn't great, but others say it's fine. But if you're worried about it some aftermarket UPA's will do the trick of remedying that issue.

Honestly for me gas wise its not too bad. Partially becasue i mostly ride motorcycle but even when i do drive this truck its just a little more expensive than my previous small european car. Full tank in both of them last for about same distance, obviously in my saab tank was much smaller but it required premium and this one is just unlead so overall now i spend around 40$ when filling up comparing to my saabs 35.

I think they look great, my 3 favorite stock Raptor wheels are the black gen 1 headlocks, the 2017 wheels and the 2019-2020 beadlocks. Just my opinion. Your wheels come in just behind those in 4th place. I used to like the grey original wheels, but I feel they look dated now. Whatever you do please, please for the love of God! Don't put 20 or 22's on it.

Brenthal Industries makes a suspension for that truck. They are a trophy truck manufacurer as well. It's pricey however, around $22,000 out the door, but it's a very good quality long travel suspension. From what I understand, the people that go on long desert trips, at high speeds say the stock suspension doesn't always hold up to that sort of abuse. (Not too sure what actually breaks). This is nothing to worry about though, just from what I've seen you doing. It might be worth it to you if you join clubs that go out and travel those long desert trips, sometimes they go to Baha. There is also the Snoball500, that happens in Michigan sometime in January. That one includes a 500 mile trip on backroads in the deep snow.

You dont have to be that cautious about the steering, I have 109K miles on mine, still rocking the original steering pump . What you want to be cautious about is the fuel pump fuse, make sure the larger fuse has been installed, otherwise under hard loads over a period of time will burn out the stock fuel pump fuse and will leave you stranded.
