@4:10 you can clearly see the blocked PVC orifice. This will allow increased crankcase pressure. The back pressure could blowout your rear seal. Also the PVC blockage will increase the soot which causes sludged oil. This will damage the piston rings and more importantly cause the hydraulic timing chain tensioner to fail which will lead to a jumped chain and destroyed engine. To keep this engine happy never go past 3-5k miles without a oil change. Every 6 months inspect the inlet screens of both VVT solenoids(passenger side on top of valve cover. 10mm bolt and a connector) for oil sludge. If you have a 2.4L that's burning oil consider performing the DIY PVC orifice access in the below video. I personally have a 2016 Equinox LYZ 2WD. It has 155,000 on it and I love the car. You really don't have to take the dip stick out, I did mine and didn't have to remove the dip stick

just remove the bolt that attaches the dip stick to the intake manifold
