I got it done with help from this video. Thanks Mitchell. I only replaced the outer 2 speakers on my 2016 Challenger. I would have preferred to replace all three while I had it apart. My online retailer wasn't aware that the center speaker is the same part number as the outer 2 speakers. I would have preferred to buy 4 and use 3 and try and find someone that can use the extra for the same upgrade. The 2 replaced made a very nice difference. Makes me think if 2 is this good, just imagine how good all 3 would have been.

Well done. Clear picture. No stupid comments. Right tools, done by the book. I have a 2015 Rt Plus. 6 speakers. Sounds very plain for a $50,000 car. I am sure your car sound stereo is now better. But until you add a subwoofer (unless you have the $1,400 9 speaker option), it will still sound like a Dodge. I bought the car because I'm old and nostalgic. Also because of the real trunk. But I will not compromise trunk space for a dumb ass subwoofer. So I will add one under the passenger seat. Hope you do the same. Thanks again for the video. Good job.

What was the purpose of taking off the interior a-pillars and side panels? Looks like you could’ve just installed the speakers by just removing the one cover. Plz let me know the reason for the extra removal.

hey where did you find those speaker harness adapters from? I was told Metra 72-6514 is the correct one for the 2015 Challenger. Did you change the door speakers and or Head Unit yet?

Nice vid, did you do the door and rear deck too? I have the alpine system and it blows (would really be more of a problem if it didn't have the symphony of 392 cu in) want to replace factory speakers and eliminate factory amp, replace that too.

So if you were to replace either the dashboard, door or rear speakers, which ones do you think make the most sense to upgrade? I ask because the door speakers seem like they'd be a pain to change, and would prefer to save some $$$ to only upgrading the weakest-link speakers. Thanks again for the video!

Curious why you didn't replace the middle one as well? Does it sound strange with the middle one still in? Like crackling since the others can probably hold higher frequency then the center? Also I keep hearing these are 3inch tweeters from Best Buy and a local audio shop and online forums you're the only that says 3.5 inch did you oversize?

My car does not have a center speaker. The 3.5" infinity speakers I installed fit the same mounting holes as the factory speakers. But, I suppose it's possible the factory speakers are only 3".

Was thinking the same thing. Thing is with crutchfield is that they only sell them in pairs of 2. Might just have to go to a install place & buy three from them.

(3) 3''1/2 Speakers in the Dash, because there are three speakers or tweeters in the dash. All three are the same size. (2) 6x9 speakers in the door. (But you can also get 6x5, 5'1/4) (2) 6x5 speakers in the rear. Hope this helps. You can also go to crutchfield.com they create an account & add your vehicle. Or you can go to a speaker installation store or Best Buy, Fry's Electronics. Hope this helps: www.crutchfield.com/S-ObaW4tYbiKo/learn/2008-up-dodge-challenger.html

Thinking this is route I’ll have to go to install tweeters because I wired them into the door speakers and all I could hear was them receiving power I guess since these are treble speakers and doors are bass. Am I correct about this? Is this where I need to splice my tweeter wired into?
