Btw, thank you very much for this video. It was incredibly helpful and gave me the courage to do it myself even though I’m not very mechanically inclined. **FYI if you don’t have the torx socket to remove the screw studs from manifold, that’s a show stopper. Do you recommend cleaning the manifold ? Like washing it the inside while it is off? If yes what do you recommend to use as far as chemicals. I got some of that purple ent degreaser. Is that alright?

You can use throttle body cleaner and paper towels and tooth brush , it’s just a mess and takes time , if doing the runners into the heads make sure to leave plugs out blow out with blow gun don’t want too much stuff sitting in the chamber might foul out new plugs take your time

Great video! I think it's weird how Jeep have the manifold designed differently for different years lol - I have a 2018 Jeep GC 3.6L and the design is different than yours. I had a miss fire on Cylinder 1 and I decided to check the spark plugs today. All 5 were good and one was sketchy with some ashes and a bit melted on the tip; Just got 6 brand new ones and I am in the process of changing them (Will be done tomorrow). I have a question though: I was thinking if it would be problematic to swap coil on cylinder 1 to cylinder #2 before I put everything back together (The reason I am asking is that after I put the manifold back on (It's a pain the butt to get to cylinder 1 but the #2 is exposed and easy to get to (SHOULD the spark plug not be the issue but the coil I can easily change that. What are your thoughts? Great video. Subscribed!

Take it out compare the threads to the old plug make sure they match if so look at the first thread on the one trying to start make sure it’s a clean thread not chewed up like cross threaded if so try another new plug and start by hand fingers on socket if still cannot then going to have to get a thread chaser for that thread size hopefully trying a different plug works take your time don’t use a ratchet until you are sure it’s started properly

Not a good Ideal to put Silicon on manifold or gaskets at all, there'sno need. That's some new stuff that some mechanics are doing, that's unnecessary. Once that high heat get to it for awhile that silicon gets hard and brittle and then you have a new problem because it also hardens your gaskets. The rest of the video was on point
