Do you speak English? 和 Can you speak English? 後者表達的意境偏向"希望對方用英文來溝通" (不是很確定,認知中前者用在母語為英文或不確定對方母語是否為英文的情況下使用?) BTW,「interested & interesting」、「bored & boring」,同樣是Adjective,也很容易讓人混淆,要小心使用 老師講得很好,自己感到的話用"過去分詞",令人感到的話用"Ving",又學了一課 很喜歡關於這類的教育性內容,希望可以經常有

Drink soup is ok too. It's a huge debate but generally if you have to chew it, you are eating it. If it's just liquids, drinking is correct too.

I reckon the American lady made a mistake. "Do you speak English" and "can you speak English" are interchangeable. The reply can definitely be either "I do" or "I can". However, that may probably not be the case in America.
Only Canadians use "Bubble Tea". American uses "Boba"
