I wish Bassmaster would do all the Elite tournaments and the Classic tournaments into 3 parts like this video it is a whole lot more coverage of the competition for sure and just an awesome way to watch them.

Bayview Bassin I would have said Hackney or Edwin then and definitely Hackney now. I love Edwin so glad he won the Redcrest with that crazy flurry

What a magical day! Was our first time seeing the Classic in person in our home state and to watch our favorite angler win it all is a moment we won't forget!

What I love about this classic is that Edwin Evers was said to be the best angler to never win a classic

Anybody tell me why the Pros at the Bassmaster are using no Net?? Is that not allowed?
@BassmasterOfficial
7 жыл бұрын
Correct, they are not allowed to use nets. From the beginning, Ray Scott was insistent that anglers land their fish by hand because of the added challenge, and an angler's success isn't based on how good his partner is with a landing net. - Sara

I was always against the no net rule due to the danger of getting a hook in you especially treble hooks

Revisiting this In 2020 and it still pisses me off! I can’t help to think that the spectator opening his damn mouth about what Evers was doing was an absolute pathetic move! Observe the action and keep your mouth shut! Knowing that info woulda spun anyone out! On the final day Jason had the option to check the unofficial standings on the final day if he wanted to. Yes Edwin won the tournament, but Jason’s tournament was done at that point once the spectator opened his freaking mouth!
