I'm sure you know this by now but evidently not when u made the vid but for the escape and BR 33 the grip is not overmold there are no side plates under it. those 2 bows are not ment to take grip off. of course you can take it off and shoot off riser but it's not meant to come off. its also made of plastic and not rubber. the arena 30 and 34 still offer the rubber overmold/side plate option but the escape and br33 are plastic and not meant to be taken off. its about my only nock of the 2016 bows is I really liked shooting side plates on the agenda, and arenas that was great feeling grip wish they still offered that option on the escape.

How would you compare this to in terms of shootability with the arena 30? I really can't decide between the two. You seemed to like the arena more just by the two videos. Accuracy and control anyway. Keep up the good work!

I know you are experienced with many different bows, so I wanted to ask your opinion of the Hoyt prohawk I found one on craigslist that would fit me as far as draw length and weight was going to ask your opinion of the bow itself to see if it was even worth going to look at

Hey Ike how do you like it compared to the Arena 30? I just bought a Arena 30 on eBay new for $549 in case anyone is looking. All colors and draw weights available. Amazon,Dicks ,Gander etc. still want $899 for it so its a real hell of a deal. If anyone is like me and wants a flagship bow but can't afford the latest model lol

Would the 45- 60 pound version still be 350 fps ibo? I can't seem to find true specs on the 45 -60 I found what I think is a good deal but I'm used to shooting at 70 pounds and I know lower the weight less on speed but I'm not sure I need professional advice before going through with purchase
@ikesoutdoors

The Ibo would not change but the real world speeds would drop considerably. depending on your draw length it can change a lot. You lose approximately 20 fps for every 10lbs of draw weight dropped from 70lbs and approximately 10 fps for every inch of draw length dropped below 30"

I love your stuff Ike. I've shot a Bear Encounter for the last 3 years and it's time to upgrade. My buddies are trying talk me into a Hoyt but I tend to be brand loyal. Have you compared a hoyt to the Escape or BR33?
@ikesoutdoors
8 жыл бұрын
Go with what you like not what they like. I have an Escape and a BR33 and love them both. The new Hoyts are really nice but pick the one that shoots the best for you and fits your style best.

+eric deng It's actually a back strap, an older version of the squeeze me. I like it because I can still use back tension and it a lot more user friendly for hunting.

Ike, can you to a review of the Stepp ladder tree climbing system by Wild Edge Inc. when they release the tree steps latter this year. They used to go under a different name (Jim Stepp Ladder) but he stopped manufacturing them, Wild Edge took up the patent and are going to be manufacturing them.

Anything that feel comfortable. It's to subjective for me to really name a certain one. I love my release but you may hate it.

+ShadowDragon Cooley ya man no problem. Okay so here we go... This bow is a super smooth draw and has a rock solid backwall. The cams are amazing and I cant say enough about them because of just the roll over and just how nice it is to pull back. When your at full draw you dont have a large valley to screw around with but i like that because i feel it provides more consistancy. The short axle to axle makes the bow look like small bow but is far from it in power and performance. I shoot a 1inc group or tighter every time i shoot. This bow is accurate. I got mine w 60lb limbs and it maxes out at 56 sadly but still will kill black bears clean. When i bought this bow it was through a shop 2 weeks after they could be ordered in I waited 3 months for it to be made. I gambled and won. Im picky with my archery equipment and this bow is my baby, treat it like a kid and its never failed me. The bow isnt light really none on pse bows are. I reccomend the pse premonition hd

+ShadowDragon Cooley honestly cant think of anything bad about it, if its accurate and shoots hard and kills game there is nothing wrong w any bow. Ive helped guys at my local bow shop buy bows and ive helped sell pse every time and they got hoyt, mathews, apa, mission,diamond, excalibur everything man. Just shoot the bow and try around and you cant go wrong
