how is the maintenance on the Diesel, Fuel filter every 15,000, and basic oil changes and tire rotations right? Is there any other added expenses besides the DEF to maintain thats costly? Thanks again

Good review. Many of the things you mentioned were the reasons why I didn't get the Denali.....also didn't like the short rear headrests. Also, didn't like the DEF tank under the hood.

Great review.. thank you. Quick question for you sir, Im 41 retiring in 2 years, want to haul a travel trailer here and there, probably nothing much else, so is it worth the price of a Diesel or should I get the 6.2 gasser?

If you want better mpg get the diesel - I think the resale value will also be better down the road. If you are heading up in elevation get the diesel - it will pull better. The down side is the extra cost for the diesel but if you keep it long enough it works itself out.

Stay away from anything ecotec. Google the ecotec. You'd be better off with the 6.0 Iron block L96 if you went gas. I am probably trading in my 5.3 for the 6.6 in the denali trim if the dealer cuts me a good deal.

fit4ya1975 Get a Diesel from a well respected dealership. A diesel is the only choice for sure.

"those who chose something else besides the DENALI, couldn't afford the DENALI. period" - That's assuming someone really wants and needs a Denali, if you're a fleet operator (like we are) the Denali would be not be our top choice. People buy different vehicles for various reasons, yes sometimes it's price, but in a lot of cases it's what they need in a vehicle. Yes I have a Ram Laramie 3500 4x4 Cummins, I'm going to do a review on that shortly and I'll give all the reasons why I bought a RAM in 2016 over the Ford and GM products. It's definitely NOT about price in my case. One example - Mega Cab! - So I CAN AFFORD a Denali - but chose another product!

be 100% honest!! Yout got a MASSIVE deal on your "mega" cab. something that is not possible with sierra, or denali. I can guarantee you paid15-25% off your "msrp", try that with denali hd, not happening

Someone said I bought my Ram because of some sort of deep discount - wrong again - I get either "Press Pricing" or my Fleet Number deal on all of the 4 HD truck lines. The deals end being very comparable. I actually own 5+ Chevy/GMC Duramax and 6.0 gas engine trucks, 1 Ford F550 and a dozen or so Ram's.. So I do have a choice (like many others) as to what I can buy. Again you're wrong in saying that only people that can't afford a Denali don't buy them. Once again I repeat - MAGA CAB - no one but Ram offers that! Also Turning Radius - Ram is Best GM 2nd and Ford a dead last. When plowing snow - turning radius does matter!
