man thats Insane !!! love all the props !! what size compressor do you use ? HFL!!
@michaeldemilio542
7 жыл бұрын
I use 3 compressors for my display to keep their individual run times low since my props are triggered 100-200 times a night during the last two weeks of October and even more on Halloween. And a few props have a ambient sequence so they are constantly running and consuming air. I have one 5 HP 60 gallon, one 30 gal and one 20 gallon. My 60 gallon compressor took a dump and seized up on Halloween night so I will upgrade to an 80 Gallon compressor and use the 60 gallon tank as a reserve. A rotor screw compressor would do the job of all three but the cheapest one is about $4,000.

I am an instant big fan of yours. I'm surprised I haven't seen this on KZitem already. We happen to be the most obnoxious Halloween decorators in our neighborhood. Our yard is like nothing compared to what you've got there buddy. Last year we did a floating ghost prop with a windshield wiper motor.( It's nothing compared to you your props of course.) I think your stuff is awesome but we try to keep our haunt on the PG side because we have young kids. Also that stuff takes money and time something we rarely have at the same time. I've built things that either move up and down out of our trees with rope and pulleys and counterweights or rundown cables or rope. For fun my daughter made a video of a witch prop that we made that runs from a tree over our garage to a rope 18 feet above our driveway. About a 70-foot run. I'd like to make her look a little more realistic but mostly I want to figure out how to Winder back up the cable with a motor rather than Winder up by hand with a bicycle rim. You seem like you're really smart and would have the perfect idea for this. Could you recommend a motor that could send the witch up the cable with the push of a button?
@michaeldemilio542
6 жыл бұрын
You will need more than just a motor I think. Your Best bet for answers is through my Facebook group. facebook.com/groups/maplenightmare/

Question . how many air compressors do you have for all of this ? and how do you keep the compressors quiet ? When we run an air compressor just in the yard for making spiderwebs, you can hear it across the street . They are so loud . I do not hear your air compressor on this video.
@michaeldemilio542

I run 3 compressors for my yard display. I keep them in my basement and run 1/2 inch diameter hoses to supply manifolds that feed each prop.
