I have a 2016 smart 4two and I love it I drive everywhere in town and back and fourth to Phoenix fromTucson, it's much more stable on the road than a bug, driving a lot of beetles. My Smart is awesome.

I Ride bikes...drive on the highway? Come on! You must be kidding. What’s the difference? Do you need a big ass SUV to go on the highway? Can you drive 100mph? I bought a Smart Fortwo and it’s really amazing!

I love driving mine! Everyday is like an amusement park ride. It is very zippy! I giggle everytime I get in it. I do have the manual transmission which is the best choice.

Can't buy the smart ForFour in the USA. They don't import it. And you do not pronounce "Tridion" properly.

U-turns in one lane not two. Just saying.... The last generation used two lanes to turn and didn't have power steering. Also this gen came out in 2016 is 4 inches wide and less storage space in the back but rides better, smoother, quicker, and quieter. Has 20 more hours than the last gen.

Check out my channel and my smart car. You will see that I live in the country, so my smart is NOT a city car. I drive on country roads and highways with no problems at all. I actually get better fuel mileage then EPA rating. I'm getting about 46 MPG highway and 40 in town. I see why smart markets this as a city car, because it's perfect for that, but they dropped the ball by mis-marketing it for people that live in the country like me. It's a great car!

RobFozney I live in a semi-rural area where many roads are 65 to 75 mph. No problem with my spunky 2016 manual shift SmartCar!

Michael Plumb I am from England and did a 7 hour journey back from Scotland and it was brilliant for me. Felt a bit unsafe after hearing reviews saying it’s not great but for me I loved it. Comfortable, great on fuel and felt very stable

I just bought this car a couple days ago I did a 6 hour trip in it almost got 50 miles a gallon on the highway the only part that sucks about it is hitting potholes you feel it it hurts and when you’re going 20 mph or lower it likes to yank on you those are the only things I don’t like about it but overall I love it

Have to disagree the 5 speed is and faster than the Auto plus being it tops out at 100mph and put your foot down at 75 it’s still pulls nicely it has no problem on a freeway, it’s has a small fuel tank but I get around 400/440 miles out the tank

I came from a line of 300HP performance cars when I bought my Smart Electric Drive in 2013. Three years later, I still love driving this car, and take it out in preference to the Tesla we also have in the driveway if the trip is short and in the city. Great little cars for the right owner who enjoys the go-cart like ride.

Right, but you have the electric drive. This one isn't. Perhaps the EV version is more fun to drive.

Yes, the Smart ED is more fun to drive than the gas Smart, that is certain.

I'm still puzzled at the price of the electric. You dump the gas engine, exhaust system, and the rest of it, yet the extra batteries and electric motor still add nearly $10-Grand. Why?

I found 2 in a used car dealer. This same one, & a blue w/ white. I'm just afraid that so much orange in the interior might be a little too overwhelming. (great review)

You are only reviewing one model version, there are tons of extra addons - Check out the Smart Media Head unit that comes on the Prime version if you want a touchscreen sat nav and phone integration

"I don't think this is a car for people who are passionate about driving. Buyers here typically don't own high performance vehicles" Made me think of Salomondrin's Smart Fortwo, who also owns a 918 Spyder, Carrera GT, Viper ACR, 675LT, 911 R, etc. 😂

Can the hood be locked, not just clipped shut? If it can't then the car is not secure and therefore liable to vandalising.
