There are a lot of mid-size family sedans on the market today, but for my latest unboxing review I wanted to check out the only one that comes with standard all-wheel drive.
The 2016 Subaru Legacy 2.5i Limited may not be much of a looker inside or out, but its best attributes are what you can't physically see. It's extremely safe, earning some of the highest crash test ratings possible. And for anyone who lives in a part of the country with harsh winters, having AWD could turn out to be a life saver. Under the hood is a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated 'boxer' four engine with 175 hp and 174 lb-ft of torque. I know, that doesn't sound very powerful. That's because it's not. The optional flat-six engine is somewhat better. The standard transmission is a CVT that's just OK. But I have a solution to that bland engine and transmission combo, and I discuss that in this review. Enjoy!
