Funny because if he did win, everybody would complain about how BD wins all the time and say how rigged I&e was
@NomadHorizon

It’s not BD’s fault that they breed the best out there, set high expectations and you get high succeeding players. That’s why BD always wins, because they are good and have money to pay to be good.

@mel-px7hl

@@Iplayquad well, since you completely ignored the subtext of what I said, I’ll spell it out for you: Just because a drumline is KZitem/instagram bait (i.e. Crown 18, Vanguard, or any Boston line since McNutt (only 5 years btw, since you wanna say “constantly”) doesn’t make them cleaner. People jump on the hype train and condition themselves into believing that they deserve it more. You’re just more likely to ignore the dirt because you think they’re “more entertaining” than Devs. BD comes out clean when it matters, and it shows, considering they rarely place below 2nd in percussion (haven’t since 2016). Going out of your way on Devs doesn’t make you cool or some sort of rebel, especially on a half-decade old I&E video of a guy just trying to have fun.

@@steampunkhulk5559 he's saying that people complaining about the rim clicks even though there are rim cutouts, don't have a right to because they are not in a position to but to an extent I agree with that but just because a customer can't cook food doesn't mean they don't know what good food is but that doesn't apply here because Miles is a splendid drummer and the people here do have a right to criticize it but if they say they could do it better, they better prove it. The editors over at System Blue need to make sure their audio levels are bouncing high enough so people don't have to crank up their speakers and then get blasted by the outro that is insanely loud. (-12 to -9 db is a good level...)

Actually Ian (outside quad 16-17 for BD) said it doesn’t help quite as much as everyone says- like it helps but it’s not like all of a sudden you’ll never hit rims. If your stick ends up between the drums you’ll still get metal whether the rims are cut or not. Cutting rims only helps if your sweeps are too low

His tat is from the WGI ensemble Breakthrough indoor percussion in Phoenix, AZ. He marched there in 2015 I believe(so probably his first step into open/world class as a performer)...he's one of the first people I'd ever seen live from that kind of class, and I ended up marching in Breakthrough as well a few years later. He's actually the Battery coordinator now at BT! Him, Cole Governo, Mario Profita, Brandon Olander, Roberto Paz...whole bunch of pretty crazy names come from AZ. Pretty cool stuff.

System Blue is an educational company, so it’s designed to teach kids the muscle memory of playing zones but also the ideal section to cross over. The other biggest factor for this is weight reduction.
@kingmezs23

Why does there need to be a rim section there if it would be easier without one? Imagine the new possibilities. It's innovation.
