I test rode one of these beast's and within a year I bought an 06 classic puts a smile on on my face every time. Went for ride after work during the week and was pacing a pickup truck and keeping the gap the same when I noticed the wind pressure was getting quite high looked down at speedo we where doing 100 mph. Speed limit in New Zealand is 63 mph more than enough to get your license suspended on the spot. The rocket was just cruising along at that speed. You will not regret buying a Rocket iii. This will be the last bike I ever buy I just love it.

Phar2slo R3C Pilot It's a truly amazing bike without an equal. I still have a few months before I am able to buy but it is definitely at the top of my list of must-have bikes.

Nice review. Love the sound of it and you drove it with respect and didn't abuse it. Good job. Love that bike.

Thank you! I'm not a hooligan type of rider, and I try to be especially careful with bikes that are not mine. At the same time, this bike makes you want to go fast.

I have seen those Rocket III's at the Triumph dealership when I get the Tiger serviced. They are huge.

After riding one for 10 years, all other bikes look small and the R3 is normal sized looking

In which gear would you say you normally shift at for the RPM range? I mean would Up shifting when reaching 3000 rpms be too soon I'm too afraid to redline mine because it seems like the engine gets so loud even at 3000 rpm is it safe to go to 4000

I couldn't tell you. I only test rode this bike once, and it was several years ago when I put this video out. Sorry.

If your Concours 14 is vibrating you should probably check the motor mount bolts. There is a special torque sequence and procedure on this bike because the engine is a stressed member. I think you will see a big difference because these C14's don't vibrate much. As you know it's the same engine as used in the ZX14 and you never hear any complaints from the guys that ride them. The engine has two balance shafts! I'm on my third C14 and they are great bikes to me, though I'm not a fan boy.

I've got the old 1000 version. I've tested the 14 once though and you're right about it being super smooth. It's a great bike

The FatBob ain’t shit in comparison to the Rocket 3. Shit most Harley’s ain’t shit compared with the Rocket 3. And Triumph made a touring model. If performance comfort and agility is what you want for an all around Cruiser , that’s the Triumph Rocket 3. Experience riders only 👍

Brent Garens Small bikes are so much fun. I loved the test ride I had on an R3. I actually liked it more than the other Yamahas I tried at that particular demo event (including the R6, FZ09, Super Tenere, XSR900, and the FZ07). I hope you continue to enjoyable it.

yeah I did have a R3R for 3 years .... kzitem.info/news/bejne/15iunXeGsZmbgaA and : kzitem.info/news/bejne/qZ-GuaWVj3Wdlag till a stupid woman did not stop at a STOP sign ..... Plenty of blue bruisers ( just was riding at 50 km/h ...... ) I miss that super max monster so much ( it was declared total loss because of engin carter split by right side crash bar - lucky I had those crash bars otherwise my leg should have been total loss ... ). I never forget all those incredible kilometers on that nice supermax monster !!

The Fat Bob has nothing on this motorcycle. So what is the point of riding a Fat Bob. All you are doing with any Harley is paying for the name

A week after making this video, I got to test the Fat Bob and came to the same conclusion. It's a good bike but not worth the extra money it costs over the Triumph. Thanks for watching.

That tends to happen when the bike belongs to a dealer and I don't have the money to purchase it... Thanks for watching.
