The Phantom 4 is really a great drone! The video quality combined with its "Intelligent Flight" features really make it worth while in my opinion. Great video!

Awesome video Mike and awesome operation. I hear you on not letting your drone get out of sight. I have had my Phantom 2+ lose the video back to my phone fail twice. Screen just went grey on me. I was able to just reverse the direction and bring it back to where i could see it and fly it back to land the first time. The second time i was not so lucky as the battery was just about down to 15% when it went grey. I managed to get it back to within about 100 feet from me and get it in a hover about five feet off the ground when it shut down. No damage but it scared the crap out of me. If i can't see it now i don't video with it. I might miss a little footage but i won't have to buy a new drone.

Coming from a DJI Mavic Pro owner. If I were to buy another drone I'd be getting the Phantom 4 Advanced. The DJI cameras pick up colors better than GoPros making for a more vivid picture. Also, the Advanced and Pro's have a screen on the controller that is permanent so you don't have to use a phone and who doesn't like 20MP?

i don't have any experience with either the karma or the phantom 4 pro but i really like my phantom 3 advanced, and from what I've heard the karma aren't the best. i also think you would appreciate it in the long run not to have to take the camera off and on the karma when you have to do ground shots.

that was amazing, those machines are monsters. i seen the video you talked about. when i was a kid we would get ten acres a day combined if we where lucky. they can do that in a half hour i would guess with one machine. i have a phantom 3 standard. it gets great footage. the 4 pro would be great i would think. but what do they cost $1500? loved that video.

I think you said the grain tank on the combines is 340 bushel. How long does it take to fill that tank? There seems to be lots of unloading time, but that may just be the way you shot the video. Also, how many of these grain cart loads does it take to fill a semi-trailer? Great video! The video with the new GoPro and grip is very good - good quality on the images, and smooth. Impressive on several fronts! Thank you.
@AceBaracuda

385 bushels per full combine hopper, each cart there when full holds easily 60,000 lbs or 1000 bushel might be more. And in the corn they are combining it takes roughly 1700 feet to fill a hopper on a combine. And each grain cart full is 1 semi full. Each combine is averaging 4 semis per hour leaving the field easily. So 8 to 12 semis on average are leaving that field per hour.
