Why did GSU take them starters out in the second half gosh Alcorn took full advantage of that man that fourth qtr reminded me of last yr. Ncat is no joke they want gsu badly I mean badly badly badly. They been talkin smack already its just Monday and ncat had damn near a month to prepare too GSU haven't rested yet. Dont think they'll get it either they need to prep hbcu super bowl.

Go luck GSU!! North Carolina A&T going for that second National that coach they got is a good Coach.. He bet Alcorn 2 years ago.. that RB was there threat on offense.. Everytime he touched the ball he break one big. I was there he Surprise me.. We played close to them fell short at the end. Just like the last two Swac game against GSU... They got alot of weapons and will trick you.. I watch some of there highlights of games...

There's no such thing as the HBCU National Championship. The Celebration Bowl is not it either. If you're not involving all HBCUs then I don't wanna hear it. Congrats Grambling

James Jenkins the MEAC and SWAC play Division 1-AA Football; the highest of any HBCU Conference. They are both the best of the best, so a match up between each conferences champion without question should determine the HBCU National Champion!

Sharode Perry it really shouldn't. First off, you leave out the other two conferences (regardless of their division), secondly other HBCUs in non HBCU conferences are still around and play better teams. Basing the weightless championship on level of division is foolish. Simple as that.

The real prize, is the NCAA championship. Regardless of circumstances it's the truth. I've played HBCU ball and it's a weightless Championship based on votes like the BCS championship used to be.

James Jenkins if that conference wants to be recognized it needs to move up. The Celebration Bowl benefits the MEAC and SWAC more than the FCS Playoffs. When is the last time an HBCU went all the way to the FCS National Championship game and won? It cost money to participate in the tournament...something HBCU’s don’t have an abundance of. Taking a bus to the middle of nowhere to get beat by a North Dakota State or James Madison does nothing for The MEAC and SWAC. The Celebration Bowl gives each conference $1m ($800k to the conference winner). The game is televised live in ABC and is the first and only college football game televised when it is played. That’s more national exposure and tv viewings for each school which helps there brand when it’s time to recruit top mid-major athletes. The pros far outweigh the cons but we can agree to disagree.

Sharode Perry agree to disagree indeed. The last Champion was FAMU in the 70s I believe. At the end of the day it's still a weightless title. And until and if they ever return to the NCAA championship games I'll be rooting for them to take it all the way.
