Found a gold XSE near me and started looking at the videos, this was the best Camry video and better than many non-Toyota videos....thanks. Love that you managed to extensively detail the features without sounding like you just saw the car for the first time 5 minutes ago.

I bought a 17 blue xse a month ago. Had a 14 accord exl. I did not buy another honda because of the CVT issues I had in my 14. the Camry is spacious and quality shows through. my only complaints is no drivers seat memory setting, no led tail lights, and the JBL stereo sound sucks. besides those little things it's a great car. I agree styling lacks but it's a camry. You are supposed to be invisible as they are everywhere.

I had a 2005 Avalon with the JBL stereo and it was the best sound system I heard in a car other than a 2004 BMW 7series.

it ain't much different from the stereo sound in the honda, but you can always upgrade to better speakers. you need led tail lights for everything, but overall it is a good car.

Great review, thanks for showing the exterior, interior and taking us for a ride along. I would like to see the power of the V6, how does it pickup?

Thanks for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed it. The V6 Camry is a hard one to run across, at least around here. With 268hp & 248lb. ft. of torque, stepping up to the V6 is a significant increase in power over the standard 4cyl. I have driven the Highlander and Sienna, both of which share the same V6 engine as the Camry and those were both plenty powerful. Hope this helps!

I’d appreciate an honest response here. I’m looking at a certified preowned XSE in NY. Looks beautiful 13K miles barely worn. Can you tell me what the the biggest complaint you guys get about that car? I’d really appreciate it: and please don’t say “nobody complains” everybody has a complaint about everything. Lol

my old v6 2007 XLE JBL system sounds 100000 times better than my current 2017 XSE JBL. sad to have a speaker quality downgrade !!!

Hopefully the speakers in your new car will break in over time and sound much better. I know it can take quite a bit of time for them to really wear properly and sound as they are meant to. Best wishes!

I am a huge fan of this youtube channel. Grappone is FANTASTIC. I am between Camry XSE V6 and Mazda 6. I'm looking for long term reliability, handling in snow, and style. From watching all of the youtube channels, Grappone might be the best. So if you're reading this, perhaps you can give me some advice to my inquiries. It would help a lot.

This is fantastic news Paul!! I'm THRILLED that our videos are not only enjoyable for you to watch, but helpful as well! To answer your questions in order... long term reliability; honestly both are pretty tied here. Toyota of course is synonymous with reliability, but so is Mazda even though many consumers over look them. As for snow traction they are both front wheel drive and utilize traction & stability controls to aid the driver in slippery situations. With all vehicles I highly recommend winter tires as they really do make ALL the difference when it comes to handling and the most important, braking. Styling is more subjective to personal taste really. I personally think that the Mazda6 has truckloads more of it than the Camry, but you might feel otherwise. Best bet is to view them both in person, give them really good drives and then make a decision after you have gotten all the facts. The Mazda is an absolute hoot to drive. The Camry with the V6 will be significantly more powerful. Really, no matter which you choose you can't go wrong. Are you local to Grappone? We'd love to let you look over both cars and learn all about them with zero pressure!

Thanks Grappone. Is this Peter writing? Where is your dealership? New York? From the videos, it looks up northeast. Now how about this? If the Mazda 6 is funner to drive than the Camry, how is it compared to the fusion for fun to drive? I was originally thinking of fusion but The Camry will last longer. Ford has fantastic advertisement, but I just couldn't say anything will be more reliable than a Toyota. My gears are now starting to lean at the Mazda 6. The XSE Camry looks really nice too. How about the pinstripe idea? I have a pinstripe on my 97 Prizm LSI. I for sure was going to get one on the Camry, but I wonder if you can get one on the Mazda 6? The body of the side might make it look strange. Thanks so much for reply and I hope you have time for another.

Paul Dwyer this is Hollis writing, I like to answer KZitem myself since I personally drive the cars in the films. We are located in Bow, NH which is .5 mile outside of our capital city Concord. We actually have a bunch of loyal guests from NY, we're worth the trip! Putting the Mazda6 up against the Fusion for "fun to drive" factor, the Mazda still wins hands down. The Fusion is a great car and comes in a plethora of trim levels to meet your exact needs and taste. However if you enjoy driving, the Mazda6 and you will feel like one when you drive. I'm not sure how a pinstripe would look honestly, I'm not sure that I've seen it done.

Thanks Hollis. So that is you in the video? You're fantastic, as well as the others in your company. I think you do a good service answering my inquiries, for my questions are very similar to the questions and inquiries of other viewers. Bingo!! If the Mazda 6 is more sporty and funner to drive than the fusion, then that makes it a front runner because Ford is competing against Toyota with a passion. So now it's between the 6 and the XSE. Which interior do you like better, between the camry and the 6? That might be the deal breaking factor. Either way, it's great that you represent all good cars and cars in general. You're my favorite car channel and I'm going to tell my co worker about you. He watches all these videos and is in the car repair enthusiast business. We're all a happy family here. Thanks. PS: I feel like I made a new friend.

Paul, that is indeed me in the video, and thank you I greatly appreciate your kind words. Word of mouth is the best way to promote my work, please let anyone know about our videos. I'll be working on the new Honda Civic Hatchback today, keep an eye out for the video. Ok, down to brass tacks - interiors. the Camry has a very nice one. It's very straightforward, comfortable and spacious for all your passengers and stuff. Typical Toyota quality abounds throughout and safety is key with 9 airbags. The 6s' interior is very stylish, has the feeling of being in a car that cost MUCH more from both quality and styling standpoints. It equally has loads of space for passengers and stuff. The switch gear all has a satisfying click, press, twist and soft touch materials abound. I can't say enough good about it actually. You will find that you get more for your money in the Mazda as well. Thoughtful things such as an auto dimming drivers outside mirror come on the higher level trims. And the Navigation system is outstanding.

Thanks for watching the video Barak. The Smart Key System is an option included in the Convenience Package. Also bundled in that package are an auto dimming rearview mirror, HomeLink transceiver and the anti-theft alarm. It didn't occur to me that it was part of that package, otherwise I would have mentioned it - good catch!

@GrapponeAutomotiveGroup

You can get a moonroof on any of the Camry models, however SmartKey is only available on SE, XSE & XLE. The rough estimate to get one of those with both a moonroof and SmartKey is around $25,000-26,000.
