I’m glad that you put this one out. I’m about to start dealing with a leaky water pump.

Great job with this video. Quick question. I have a 2015 Viking V1 and noticed it does not have the reaction arm on it as your does. Between the top of the engine and the frame. Did you install as an aftermarket option or did it come from the factory? I understand this helps with noise and vibration issues that are prevalent with these units? Thanks, Rick

On that 2017 I believe it was factory. The person I serviced it for bought it new and didn't modify anything. Thanks for watching!

Why was coolant two different colors? Green drained but blue went in

Great question, thanks for asking it. The recommended coolant (Yamalube) is blue, but for some reason, the coolant that comes in the machine from the factor is green. The Yamalube coolant has all the needed additives for the aluminum engine and radiator. Even thou it is blue, it is correct. Thanks for watching!

@@andysgarageadventures8043 Thank you so much for your reply. I’m about to change mine. Is it ok if they mix up a little or do I need to 100% drain green and flush it out?

@@T12200 It will be fine. Remove all the coolant possible via the draining process and don't mix in any other color going forward. Good luck!
