@@TingelingSWE 1978, and not in its current form. Trampoline as a competition alone was very new at the time, and was only added to the Olympics in 2000. I think you would agree that T&T is a lesser known sport, regardless, with double mini being the most rare, especially in places like the US. I’m a huge fan of all gymnastics types, and think T&T, as well as acrobatic gymnastics SHOULD be in the Olympics :) usagym.org/pages/post.html?PostID=852&prog=h

Do they get form deductions? Some of the form is actually disgusting. Btw Sweden's leotard is so pretty

Not Telling You My Name Yeah they get form reductions, but difficulty overweights their score.

yes they do, in DMT the form is a bit less important than in trampoline seeing as they only do two skills, and that the landings are so important. but difficulty is a larger chunk of the points yes

@@SeptimusTSS Do they get deducted by jumping first and then doing a skill on the trampoline and then off? Like rebounding 3 times total
@SeptimusTSS

@@amigozz4l No they dont :). Some combinations are better suited for that type of configuration. for example if you want to start with a skill that involves backwards rotation and then use a forwards rotating skill to jump off then that might be preferable! The argentinian contestant is very unique in this, she does forward and then backwards rotation for her skills. Its very unusual but it all comes down to preferance :D

Since I have no knowledge of this sport, is this their version of the vault? I’ve only ever seen when they do those long runs of acrobatics on the trampoline. It’s awesome. But what a bizarre sport haha….
