Got a 2018 GT Premium with 19k miles with back louvers, drake muscle wicker bill spoiler, corsa exhaust, jlt intake, and e85 tune for $35k. Taking delivery of it this weekend and super excited about it! 😊 Also, the mt82 was revised and quite a bit better than the 2015-2017 GT’s

Great video man, really love how you talked about the practical aspects of ownership. I'm saving up right now for a 2021/2022 GT that I plan to custom order, and I'm very excited for the day I finally make that down payment and take delivery of the car. Love to see that you're still really enjoying it after two years!

@@drodriguez1724 I’m going to custom order a base model, so my speck right now is $43k. I plan to do a $20k down payment on the car. The more you put down the less interest you pay, and I feel like $20k is a good number.

Love my 2018 manual Mustang GT. my daily driver as well. Changed out the stock tires for BF Goodrich Comp 2 A/S W speed. The manual MT-82 D4 Transmissions have been improved from the previous version in the 2017 and prior.

What was your reason for getting a base model? Was it because of cost? And if money was no object would you buy it again fully optioned out? Like premium, performance pack, and digital dash?
@CarCulture5.0
2 жыл бұрын
Yes the base model was the best deal for my budget. If money wasn't a factor, I probably would have opted for a Performance Pack 1 and the premium pack, but no digital dash. I'm a fan of the traditional speedometer and dash.

Nice video and nice looking ride. I have the PP1 on my 18 GT and the PS4S tires make a big difference. After they warm up they really stick and give you confidence in the corners. Get yourself some aftermarket wheels and some IRS support from BMR or Steeda and it will make a huge difference in putting the power down.

That’s awesome man! I’m actually planning on upgrading to Michelin Super sports and getting the PP1 style rims to widen my tires and start putting power down much better like you said

I want to buy a used 2020 gt 24k miles and want to daily drive it do you think it is reliable? Or is it like bmw cuz they always sitting at the dealer waiting for parts is mustang like that? Do you change a lot of spare parts or is it just the normal maintenance such as tires and oil????
@CarCulture5.0

I've only done standard oil/fluid maintenance as well as new tires. So from my experience the car was assembled well and would indeed be a good reliable purchase!

I'm thinking of buying a new mustang GT with performance pack and 6 speed manual. Have you driven a mustang with the manual in it before? For me, if a sports car offers a manual that's what I am getting.
@deanhawk7260
Жыл бұрын
I own a 2018 6 speed GT. It’s awesome. I don’t understand all the criticism over the 18 - 23 MT82. Mine works flawlessly. My theory is people that abuse it, complain Let’s face it, any car that gets constant abuse will break. I’d take the manual any day over the 10 speed automatic. It’s so fun and engaging to drive and just wait until the 10 speed trany breaks and no warranty. Imagine the thousands to repair it?
