You should do another video showing how to do this ONLY with the supplies that come with the 4runner in the middle of the night on your way out of some random forest after you hit a dead animal on the road. with a gf behind you freaking out and asking you to call Triple A.

@Roadside Guy why not bring the chain back all the way up? Just leave it dangling 10 inches like that? What if I want to then put another spare there now or put the spare back on once I replaced the flat, how do it do that? Thank you
@roadsideguy5902

Lay wheel under car and put the clasp at the end of the chain through the wheel hub hole and then crank it up. Thanks If that doesn't make sense let me know. I will try to explain in greater detail.

@@roadsideguy5902 thank you. I get it but why let it dangle and not crank it all the way back?
@roadsideguy5902
3 жыл бұрын
@@TheCEOXPerience Because without the weight of the tire holding tension on the chain it can become tangled up. If you bring it all the way up and do not let it dangle you run a risk of the chain not coming back down ever again.

The stock lug wrench is that L shaped object that I use to make the T shaped handle for the lowering tool to lower it down.
