Pulling away / acceleration characteristics V6 TDi. TPI 2053287/1 It seems this update will not be automatically applied unless very specifically requested. Request as shown above. The update dramatically changes the way the car responds. I recommend it. Can’t understand why it has to be so specifically requested. On another forum there are several cases where the dealer has insisted no update is available and the customer has had to refer the dealer to another who ‘knows’ about this very important update. I have no idea why this seems to be the case.

Pulling away / acceleration characteristics V6 TDi. The tpi is 2053287/1. It can take some tenacity to get the update as I gather it does not show up as a ‘recall’ update so will not automatically show as being an available update. Try referring to ‘Pulling away/Acceleration Issues and try quoting the TPI number.

Hi, i’m here because i noticed the same issue on my 50 TDI, it’s very very annoying. Also i notice a very boring shift up behaviuour, i find the car in 6th gear @50 kmh! It seems it doesn’t like driving over 1.500 rpm so it changes gear up, continuously even i sport mode, very boring. I come from a 326 hp biturbo tdi and i’m really disappointed from this car, the old one was like a missile compared, no lag, always ready to accelerate at best. I’m sad i wil get in touch with Audi and hope they have the chance to fix all of this mess..

I am a Stinger GT owner with AWD and had to drive one of these as a rental.it is more a luxury cruiser then a GT car.It sits up higher and the leather and interior is better quality--but not double the price of a stinger in quality. The car is definetly not as fast as my stinger--even though I drive in comfort mode in my stinger. It does not handle turns as well and the electronics and hi tech features are annoying--BTW in American cars--keep everything in Miles (btw the speedo is in MPH--but the trip computers and everything else is in kilometers) and miles to gallon--all the gauges are in kilometers and having a rental and no book--could not figure out how to switch it.It drives like it is always in eco mode.It "feels" overall like a nicer version then my stinger--but it should be at almost 70k--my stinger with V6 and TT AWD was half the price of this--all that money seems to be going into tech and sunroof and higher quality materials--stuff that has no real value in the real world--especially for such a high price. These cars also drop about 20k in the first year--which is exactly the value of all the leather and sunroof and hi tech items--stuff that can break. The car also should feel more crisp then it is--which is what this guy is showing.Audi left the sport out of this model.
