I am clueless really but could you not just take that lid off the back box and just have it to carry things that don't need to be covered? It seems fairly deep. Just a thought no yelling allowed if its a dumb idea :) Beautiful peaceful background scenery as always.

Easy solution to the compartment you don't use is to toss all the tie down stuff into it so you are forced to use it when you need to secure something. Will the hatchet fit inside the compartment? For the front carry rack why not bolt on some milk crates? Some carriage bolts to keep a smooth inside the basket with a large washer in the basket and under the rack to semipermently attach the basket. Can put a propane tank into one and lots of tie down spots. They also make a larger milk crate but finding one cheap would be a problem. Would also be good for hauling fuel cans when you need to again because you can strap them down well.

I've got a 2014 Can-Am Max 800 XT and I had that exact same box. It was destroyed after one season of riding around hunt camp. The space was great on the box, but it was constantly hitting things until complete failure. I ultimately went back to Can-Am and just got the "soft-bag" style of box for the back and I've been much happier with it. It's smaller on space but also sleeker in design so its not getting constantly caught on things. By the way. that "front-rack cargo box" that is way too small for anything is actually designed to go where the back seat is located when you take the back seat off. Great video, great bike, I'm very interested in that front bumper upgrade.

another comment on the tires - Tires are the single biggest thing to make a difference to your riding. I bought a new ATV that still had stock tires on it, riding in late May out here in the rockies and I almost got stuck in the one rare gully of snow, barely 3/4 foot tall! All because I had the stupid stock tires on it. My other ATV with mudzillas would have smash through it. Don't skimp on tires!

I agree with what you said about the wind guards. That’s what I thought would happen with those flappy guards I never had theses order for mind and now I glad . Still running the stock tires . Went with the camo look to . Also hides the scratches well. The skid plate order the aluminum one another wise choice. Never liked the choice of a plastic rear or front spare box either. I see there telling you to use a milk crate this will leave your racks looking the same way as your propane tank mishaps believe me here. My thoughts would be use a pad of some kind between the milk crate and your racks. The trails are on forgiving. Went with the Baja lights big bucks I know. But darn if they don’t work great 👍. I love the life time warranty to. Went with the synthetic line to. Instead of wire. I’m using strap on mirrors. They fit right over my grips. I can adjust them on the fly with a twist of my wrist. Low profile too. There also inside my bikes body. Paid around $10.00 a piece for them. I telling you they work pretty good to. Hated the thought of snapping them off in the woods along some of the trails. Ordered my bike end of 2019. They came back the dealer told me sorry can’t get are hands on one. Well gave me the 2020 instead didn’t change the price either best thing that could of happen for me I’m super happy to. Thanks for the truth to.
