I just bought a 2019 Equinox LT with blind spot monitoring, but I have a question that I can't seem to find the answer anywhere when looking online or KZitem. My question is with the blind spot monitoring. Is it supposed to beep if there is another vehicle next to you when you put your blinker on or does the light just come on? I am asking this because I know other vehicles beep. Thanks in advance for the help.
@flexingingodspeace7774

You were nice on not being able to see out of the vehicle. I wanted to like this car a LOT when the redesign came out but was so disappointed when I sat in it. Eventually, GM will pay attention to Subaru and consumers. GM's designers are leading them astray, exterior form valued over the actual experience of driving the car. And to your point, it's even worse when the safety features are only found on the high end trim(s). GM is saying "we don't mind that you can't see out of our car but if you do want to be safe driving it, pay more." This IS the GM mindset.

Norm T none of the models sold as many as Honda sold CR-Vs, that’s considering that GM sold most of them to rental car fleets. They sold so many Equinoxes to fleets that for 2019 the offered a fleet-only package. www.automotive-fleet.com/313773/2019-chevrolet-equinox-offers-fleet-only-options You’re trying to say that together, the Equinox, Terrain and Envision outsell the CR-V, but separately, none of them have, EVER. They’ve never outsold the RAV4 either. While the three have common underpinnings, they are sold separately, styled differently, packaged differently, priced and marketed differently as well. For all intents and purposes, they are different cars from different brands and must be compared separately. Meanwhile, Honda only sells to ZipCar, which amounts to just a few hundred CR-Vs a year. They sell to no other corporate or municipal fleets. It’s their corporate strategic view and well publicized.

All true. But the Achilles Heel of the CX-5 is that its interior room is not only less than the Equinox; it's less than virtually every other vehicle in the compact SUV category. The CR-V and the Subaru Forester, for example, provide at least 25% more overall cargo space than the CX-5, vehicles that are barely larger than the Mazda. The 59.6 cubic feet of total cargo space is only about 6 cubic feet more than a VW Golf, a vehicle that's 15"(!) shorter than the Mazda.

@@afcgeo882 No you don't "own it", once the lease is funded you can sell it to a dealer. If you sell it to a dealer no sales tax is involved or a 3rd party inspection. If you owe 18K, Carmax, Carvanna, whoever offers you 20K you get a check for the difference. You have to do this on a weekday because whoever you are selling the lease to must have VERBAL confirmation of the payoff amount. The dealer you are selling the vehicle to pays off the vehicle. Log into your website to verify this after a few days. OR you can be a sheep & take your lease to the "lease trade in center" "lease headquarters" whatever derpy sign a dealer has up to sucker you to come in & get nothing for it and may get stuck paying for "damage" "wear & tear" "tires" etc. I pocketed a little over $2100 on a 2012 Pilot EX-L.

5 жыл бұрын
Ivan Vojt that’s not how it works in the United States. When your lease is over, you still don’t own the vehicle. You’d first have to buy it out, then you can re-sell it, but most of the time, the car will be valued less (wholesale) than your remaining balance, so it will not be beneficial to do that. To make it simple: almost never will an offer on it from a dealer be higher than what your buy out price will be, UNLESS you overpaid on your lease.
@BTC909
5 жыл бұрын
@@afcgeo882 But does it work in the Kingdom of Zamunda? I never said "you own the vehicle". You don't unless you pay it off based on the remaining payoff amount & obtain the title. You can take it to a dealer and let them pay it off & you pocket the difference or pay the difference based on the 'payoff amount' and your offer from the dealer. You also DON'T want to do this after the lease it up.
