Robyn Wiegman, Professor of Literature and Women's Studies at Duke University, delivered the 9th Annual Sedgwick Lecture, “Outrage: Feeling the Political Present,” on March 21, 2019. Professor Wiegman is author of Object Lessons (2012) and American Anatomies: Theorizing Race and Gender (1995), and editor of several volumes. She is among the most influential scholars in feminism, race, and sexuality today. In this talk, Wiegman excavates the challenges that the Trump era poses to progressive reason.
