Things we need in Endeavour 1.better under thigh support in second row 2.fully tumbled second row seats for easy access to third row 3.fully loaded variant with manual transmission for high mileage,chauffeur driven users (2.2 or 3.2 either will work but preferably 2.2 Because most of the sell for old generation endeavour and old new gen Toyota Fortuner comes from manual transmission models

Less Milage is due to the performance it offers and weight. The engine is very old. Gearbox has nothing to do with it bcz DSG is efficient than manual.

@@unclsam6798 yea may be you are right but in this context high mileage means people who travels 40-50 thousand kms a year and DSG is fuel efficient but also unreliable and without automatic means one less thing to worry and to maintain

I agree they should have launched more variants. I do about 30-40k kms a year and 2.2 with 4x4 would have suited my need. I had to go ahead with 2.2 4x2 T+.

Nice review. But anchor is a bit dull. Probably he is a soft spoken person, and has a calm soothing voice. But in the microphone it sounds dull and lethargic. Loved this car from the first generation. This one takes aggression to a whole new level. But sorely miss its American partner, the chevy Trailblazer.

What an armature review from Overdrive. Even a kid could explain its capabilities better. Talking of a capable off roader like the Endy, there is no mention on its approach, departure angles, its different terrain management options and what and how they can be used for...etc. Maybe you could have just copied and pasted the review of an Australian car journal for you!!!!

still in the stone age, here in Thailand the endeavour(everest) now has a twin turbo 2.0L with 10 speed auto.

Andrew wells its good to not have overly complex engines. 3.2 is a gem and 10 speed? Really? In our conditions anything over 6 speed is an overkill. I am happy that ford continued with the same engine and transmission.

@@TheWAP5 More simple can be better but the 2.0 twin turbo makes more power 213hp and more torque 500nm with much better fuel economy.

Andrew wells to be honest this car had sufficient power. I agree on fuel economy part and of course downsizing is a norm. But hey smaller engines mean higher fuel economy is not true in many scenarios.

i would rather have big engine working normally than a small one that is double boosted to its limits causing it to wear-out faster. THERE’S NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISPLACEMENT.Ü
