Ugliest truck ever made, I think they gave the designers a hit of acid and told them to create a truck that looks like a cross between a 1950s toaster and a football helmet .

Need to spend more time on the interiors of your reviews. The drivers spend most of their time in the cab. I’m sure they would be getting ideas of how to arrange their belongings if they could see more of the inside.

The Lonestar has a very cramped and confined drivers work station Gauge clusters along with switches are poorly positioned and difficult to recognize. Mirror placement as well ill concieved. NaviStar attemoted to build a fashion statement and completely failed with the build of a driver friendly working vehicle. The ProStar with the Maxforce diesel engine almost bankrupted Navistar, not to mention many owner operators that financed that truck.

The air lines & light cord are already been rubbing up against the rear of the cab, then you have wheel weight mounted on the outside of rear wheels. Along with a lot of plastic up front in that grill. Like to see what that grill like like with around 500,000 miles on it.

Se ouver um acidente entre dois caminhões desses ai o motorista com certeza não vai morrer, já essas porcarias que roda aqui nesse lugar mal assombrado, caminhões cara chata se rolar um acidente entre ambos e morte na certa.

compared to trucks of this caliber, this one looks like it's a Semi truck that is trying to look like a rich man's luxury car trying to look like a Semi truck on the exterior. Which they did a good job at making it look elegant and such. Silly note, Lone Star makes me think of Space balls. The back end of it has some classic vintage vehicle vibes that has been modernized. Looking at the overall exterior I would be too afraid to use it for it's intended purpose as it's too nice looking. Just use it as a sort of a weekend driver. Looking at the dash of this thing has a look of a super car mixed with luxury car vibes and the inside makes it look like an expensive thing that you would just want to take to shows. Sleeper looks like a business man decided to throw out his office chair and opt for a bed instead and was too reluctant to get out of bed that he put in a safety net of a sort. Also, please be sure to completely close the refrigerator. It takes a lot of energy from a land based power plant to get it down to the right temps. And I'm too scared to see how it will be in a Semi truck. Those things have limited power which starts at the gas tanks which feeds into the engine which spins an alternator that charges batteries and also powers everything on the inside simultaneously and such. So, please, please, please, please, please next time, be a Gent and make sure that the refrigerator is fully closed rather than what I saw which looked like it was left cracked open. It's probably running off the trucks batteries and will be pulling excessive amounts of power from it. A stranded truck at a show could be a disaster. Refrigerators have an internal thermostat that continuously checks the internal temps of the refrigerator and it is monitored around the clock by a central processing chip on a PCB that is located in the main housing which constantly checks the temps. And when that is running it has minimal power draw, but when it has to kick in and start cooling down the insides of the refrigerator, it does not matter about how efficient they are, the power draw is enormous and could be heavily taxing on the batteries. And I'm sorry to be a prude but even if they have the truck's power grid plugged into the buildings electricity, it's still something that really bugs me and gnaws at my every fibers. But outside of that, you did a good job showing off the truck in its splendor.

Could they put the hand/trailer brake any farther away to reach..... The biggest problem in the industry today is not teaching new drivers to use the hand brake to keep you out of trouble. At least this truck has it unlike some other New trucks I've seen.

That's where they should've kept them, on the column where you don't have to look to find them or lean over the steering wheel to reach them, instead of on the dash like Volvo did. Believe it or not I use the hand brake more than the foot brake. Saved my ass a few times on black ice and snow.
