Just traded my '18 JLU Wrangler for a 2020 GC Altitude today. My trail buddies will make fun of me, but I'm in my 60's so comfort and luxury is now my priority.

Hey man, nothing wrong with comfort and luxury. It’s been around 6 months of ownership so far for us and we love the GC Altitude!

Bought the 2020 Altitude a couple months ago. Mine came with the LED and sunroof and winter package, otherwise identical. Very happy indeed. Dude, you have a really heavy foot for that mileage. Through this winter I averaged 18mpg, but for the last 2 weeks since it's gotten warmer and with summer tires back on, I'm doing over 20mpg, easy! Oh, and check out the OFF ROAD PAGES on the UConnect, it's awesome, tells you all kinds of awesome stuff about the car, angles, oil pressure/temp, trans, everything.

Nice man congrats! Haha yeah my heavy foot doesn’t help with the gas mileage but here in Miami we get a lot of stop and go traffic which definitely worsens the gas mileage as well (but most of the time is my heavy foot 😅) .. I’ll check those pages out! Thanks man. Enjoy the jeep!

I have the same car and I love it. Only thing is a month to having mine it started doing an extended crank issue. It was the fuel pressure regulator or something like that. It being under warranty they fixed it and so far so good. I hope it remains reliable. Curious to know if anyone else has had any issues, or was it just my wonderful luck.

Interesting, did your car drive different when you had that issue? So far, the only issue I had was the remote start. The battery sensor was bad but they replaced it under warranty as well.
@OklahomaMomof6

Road to Millions it wouldn’t start sometimes. It would just do an extended crank. Once it would start it was fine when I drove it. It was awful and I was so upset that my brand new car was doing this. I hope I don’t have anymore issues

You're welcome, glad you enjoyed the review! You just need to go back and forth with a few dealerships to get the lowest price. If you need a cargo cover for the Jeep, use the link I provided in the description!

I’m buying same car in the next couple days only thing I don’t like is the head lights arnt led. How ever I guess HID bulbs will work
@MilliRoad
5 жыл бұрын
DMI Wezzy I agree! Nothing HID bulbs can’t fix. Other than that, the car is amazing. The High Altitude model comes with the LED lights but it does put you over 40k.

Thanks! The sound system is really good actually! Maybe the alpine sound system might sound a bit more crisp but I don’t know how much of a difference it will make.

I Am A 76 Year Old Man and I've had my 2018 JGC. ALT. 5 Years now. It's Great. I'll keep it until 2045. THE Cargo Cover Is Standard Equipment. I only have 28,000 miles on my JEEP.

Road to Millions I wasn’t sure at first if I wanted to do it until I saw a picture of one that had the black grill. I knew then I had to go ahead and do it. I think they should of came standard with the black since everything else is.

reginaalear i guess they left it silver that way you can tell the difference between a stock altitude grill and a stock high altitude grill, which comes already blacked out .

you have to move up to the High Altitude Model to get the LED headlights.... nothing but an upsell for Jeep
@freethinker4liberty

Um, no. I got the 2020 Altitude, and there is an option to get sunroof and LED lighting for a couple grand extra, which is what I got. yes, it was an upsell, and the guy actually tried to talk me out of it cuz he had the colour on the lot I wanted, but I wanted it and he had to go get it lol. 0miles on the sucker!

Oh man. Not good! We have around the same amount of miles as you and haven’t had this issue. Take it to the dealership, any issues should be covered under warranty.

I totally agree with you! I purchased the same car in granite metallic after trading in my 14 Jeep Wrangler. So far I’m loving everything about it but the headlights. Really considering either swapping them or just doing LEDS. Also, thanks for the link for the cover! My dealership claimed that since I got the car so many dollars below MSRP, they were not able to throw in the cover unless they charged close to $200 for it! Hope you enjoy your new ride!

You're welcome about the the link for the cover! Dealers will be dealers am I right? Enjoy your new ride as well and enjoy the cover! haha
